“Fantastic experience all around! Very impressed and grateful at the time and attention given to get us into the right equipment for our skill level. I’ve been an occasional skier most of my life (albeit a renter) and recently have been pushing to get my family involved in the sport. We booked appointments at Sun & Snow this past Winter for custom boot fitting and equipment selection and walked away with gear that we were totally happy with. My boots fit better than any rental I have ever had - I am so glad I finally went the route of a custom pair. Rob was excellent at taking the time to make sure we sourced a set of boots that accommodated my foot shape (wide, low arch, low roof) and also making custom padding adjustments after that to tweak the fit. After a few runs the boots broke in and are so much more comfortable than anything I’ve used in the past. No problems staying out there all day! Likewise with my wife, she went through the same process for her snowboard boots and couldn’t be happier with the fit and feel. For my son, Rob took the time (without an appointment!) to figure out his stance, adjust his board bindings and give it a cleaning and coat of wax. Rob, Madeline and the whole staff at Sun & Snow really care about the sport and genuinely want to make sure that people are set up to enjoy it. No matter what your skill level, I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to purchase new equipment, and especially recommend them if you need a custom boot fit. We are super excited to make this into a family tradition and are glad we’ve got a crew like this in our corner.”
