“I needed a new vacuum and decided to order one from Vac World since it's local. A day or two later I got a call from the owner asking about my floors and if I have pets or kids to make sure I was buying something that would suit me. If that wasn't nice enough he also offered to exchange the vacuum I'd ordered with a Miele canister vacuum that was traded in, for the same price. I had been looking at Mieles initially but couldn't afford the cost, so I was really happy about this offer. When I went to pick the vacuum up I was able to test out both on hard flooring and carpeting similar to the area rug I have at home and was really impressed with how well it captured the silica beads scattered in the floor- no back and forth over the same spot to get everything picked up, just one pass. If the canister didn't have any scratches he couldve told me it was a brand new machine and I wouldn't have had a second thought about it. I'm a big fan of buying refurbished items when I can but it's always a gamble. Vac World clearly cares a lot about the work they do and making sure customers are happy and buying the machine that will suit their needs without using that as an excuse to upsell. If you need a new vacuum I can't recommend them enough!”

“I had my Bernina 880 in a shop for repair in gr. It was in the shop for over 3 weeks and they finally called me and said it would have to be shipped to Chicago for repair. I picked it up out of there and took it to sew fabulous The tech had it up and running in less than a week. I highly recommend any service you need on your machines. Don't waste your time at other shops and as always their employees are so friendly and helpful. I love the store. Wish it was closer”

Showed the lower price to the cashier and boom, $199 plus tax and I was out the door with my new over ear sound machine.”
