“Dollar general is a growing store as around the US but if you have gone in one you have gone in all of them. They all look the same more or less and have the same products and prices. This particular one is always nice and clean, nothing ever seems to run out and the employees have always been helpful and nice!”

“Polly’s Country Market on Spring Harbor Road never disappoints! While checking out, the cashier noticed I had accidentally picked up the wrong spice. Without hesitation, they generously went to grab the correct one for me and brought it back right at the register. It was such a lifesaver and saved me from making another trip through the store! The customer service and attention to detail here are truly outstanding. It’s little moments like this that show how much they care about their customers. “Great little shop in downtown Hanover, MI. Stagg is freidnly and helpful and they have plenty of good fresh and shelf life foods and softdrinks. Clean and tidy inside with plenty of downtown style parking. Stop in and say hello to them. They love the company!”

“I absolutely love this store, and the woman who still works there is awesome! The store is just as authentic and original, just as it was many years ago! It's a real treasure! I am so happy that the store is still there up and running. It truly brings me joy each and every time I go in there.There's not many stores like this left, and I hope it remains for many years to come!”
“I love the convenience of having fewer options. I get stuck forever at stores where they have so many brands of vitamins (for instance), you just cannot make a decision if you're like me.
They have all the grocery basics and a few gift or seasonal items (July: school supplies).
The prices seem reasonable. Just remember to bring a quarter to get a cart (the money is returned to you when you bring the cart back.)
You will also need your own bags or you can grab free boxes, or pay for bags if you want to.
The checkout is usually super fast, or at this location, you can use a self-checkout lane.

“One can only imagine what it was like in Europe in the old days, where people went to the market, to buy foods a few times a week, as well as socializing with friends, neighbors, and children's parents. Covid has done a lot towards keeping us isolated. A repose from sitting and watching TV, is a run up to Polly's for Deli Lunchmeat, cheeses, Ora fresh baked cake. During my girls childhood, for 20 years I always ordered their birthday Cakes from Polly's, on Ferguson Road. What was so special? One could order Disney Characters on the cake, my daughter's favorite photo, a creamy whipped topping that wasn't terribly sweet. Much of the rest of the store allotted space for new or traditional world wide cuisine. It always had unique items. My younger daughter, whilst in her teens, refused to eat sandwiches without sprouts. Polly's, had them when no one else did. What more can I say? The best thing is to get off the couch in this icy cold weather, and take a trip to one of three Polly's locations.”
“First time stopping at this Meijer, seems to be recently renovated and matches the layout of my new local Meijer. Easy to find what I needed and plenty of self checkouts were available. Clean, bright, and well stocked!”
“Great chicken strips or tenders way better then Chick Filet not a big menu as Chick Filet but i only get the Caniac 6 piece nothing else and canes portions are much bigger and better quality chicken in my opinion ?.”
“I stopped into dollar general tonight and was greeted with the most welcoming smile and greeting from Desire she is a wonderful edition to this location and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves between her Brooklyn, Courtney, and the guy night key holder (I didn’t get his name I just will get it and edit him in) make Parma D.G Thrive but Desire is a true Gem and Brooklyn and Courtney were excellent coworkers keep up the good work. Very friendly staff and I’m always in and out
Prices are decent on their fuel, especially if you use their card and fill up before you can save up to seven cents per gallon”
“Been coming here since I was a little girl. Use to walk from my house with my other siblings and Ive just never had a bad experience here. I know all the employees by name and they know my step father too. Just super friendly staff and great environment”
“I went in to get some stuff to clean up my son’s scraped knee and the cashier was super nice to me and my kids. Even offered some water to help rinse off his knee.”
“Since the remodel, it is very cramped and it difficult to find what you’re looking for. There are also a lot of carts and broken down boxes in the middle of a few aisles which make it even more difficult to navigate around the store. Other than that, I’ve been coming here since it was built and it’s very convenient”
“Its a dollar general, pretty standard however this location typically has more and higher quality options to select from. On my visit I purchased ice cream and tortilla chips, no complaints. Quiet environment.”

“In and out didn't have what I was looking for but most definitely was neater and cleaner than Horton or Parma. Maybe it was the times and days I visited the others. I try to avoid peak times. They did have something I wanted that the others didn't have but wasn't on the Chriistmas list, so I will be back.”
“I went to Walmart and headed straight to the pharmacy. I waited in line for a short time, and the people around me were friendly and made pleasant conversation. When I reached the counter, the pharmacy staff quickly found my mother's medication. The pharmacist spoke with me briefly, handed me my mother's prescription, and I was able to leave. The entire process was simple and went very smoothly.”
“Not every dollar general is the same. I will say that have more on the shelves than others do. The bigger ones have more items than the smaller ones but prices are the same. The staff is still the same nice and helpful.”

“This is the pharmacy in Jackson you can speak with on the phone to resolve any issues you have with perscripritions. They take time to make themselves available to you even if you have a question unrelated to a medication they dispensed. Their help is so appreciated!”
“Is Dollar General a good place to go when you don’t have a lot of money? Stopped in tonight and Blair and Chris did the most excellent job of greeting me as a guest. They deserve a hi-five.”
“Easy in and out. They are good, but can do better. I know they try, but check your produce for mold. They are happy to fix it when told, but don't check often enough. I say this because I find moldy produce to often for a 5 star rating. I also don't like the changes they made to the isles. They used to have cross isles and it made it very convenient to jump in-between isles, but that is me whining about a reasonable good store.”
