“Polly’s Country Market on Spring Harbor Road never disappoints! While checking out, the cashier noticed I had accidentally picked up the wrong spice. Without hesitation, they generously went to grab the correct one for me and brought it back right at the register. It was such a lifesaver and saved me from making another trip through the store! The customer service and attention to detail here are truly outstanding. It’s little moments like this that show how much they care about their customers. “This place is my go-to place for supplements and such. I love their lily of the desert preservative free aloe vera, fish oil, and seamoss tincture. These are daily staples for me!

“I love the convenience of having fewer options. I get stuck forever at stores where they have so many brands of vitamins (for instance), you just cannot make a decision if you're like me.
They have all the grocery basics and a few gift or seasonal items (July: school supplies).
The prices seem reasonable. Just remember to bring a quarter to get a cart (the money is returned to you when you bring the cart back.)
You will also need your own bags or you can grab free boxes, or pay for bags if you want to.
The checkout is usually super fast, or at this location, you can use a self-checkout lane.

“Prices are higher on some things compared to say, Meijer and Kroger, but on some things they beat both of them. This is typical when you compare different grocery stores. What I particularly like about Polly‘s is that they have good variety. They carry some of my favorite brands that I have never seen at the bigger stores. This is not a small store, though, but not so overwhelming as the bigger stores.”
“One can only imagine what it was like in Europe in the old days, where people went to the market, to buy foods a few times a week, as well as socializing with friends, neighbors, and children's parents. Covid has done a lot towards keeping us isolated. A repose from sitting and watching TV, is a run up to Polly's for Deli Lunchmeat, cheeses, Ora fresh baked cake. During my girls childhood, for 20 years I always ordered their birthday Cakes from Polly's, on Ferguson Road. What was so special? One could order Disney Characters on the cake, my daughter's favorite photo, a creamy whipped topping that wasn't terribly sweet. Much of the rest of the store allotted space for new or traditional world wide cuisine. It always had unique items. My younger daughter, whilst in her teens, refused to eat sandwiches without sprouts. Polly's, had them when no one else did. What more can I say? The best thing is to get off the couch in this icy cold weather, and take a trip to one of three Polly's locations.”

“First time stopping at this Meijer, seems to be recently renovated and matches the layout of my new local Meijer. Easy to find what I needed and plenty of self checkouts were available. Clean, bright, and well stocked!”
“Wayyyyyyy better than the Michigan center one. The one in Michigan center is a dump with no air conditioning and falling apart building and shelves. This one is clean, well stocked and has AC lol. And is near the Michigan center one. Might as well close the one in center and expand this one into a dollar general market like the one in Marshall.”
“Best camp ground store I've been in!!! Super friendly staff, smiling faces and willing to go the extra mile. Kids love the candy selection, soft serve cones on hot day bring back memories of being a kid!!! Huge selection of ICE COLD beer. Bought these grilling sheets there that we now take everywhere!!! Cooks foods evenly, even vegetables on the grill without having to worry about the falling in or sticking to crates!!!!! Ice and fire wood available.”
“Been coming here since I was a little girl. Use to walk from my house with my other siblings and Ive just never had a bad experience here. I know all the employees by name and they know my step father too. Just super friendly staff and great environment”

“Since the remodel, it is very cramped and it difficult to find what you’re looking for. There are also a lot of carts and broken down boxes in the middle of a few aisles which make it even more difficult to navigate around the store. Other than that, I’ve been coming here since it was built and it’s very convenient”

“This has become my go-to spot now that I’m not living that city-life convenience anymore. I’m always able to get in and out quickly, the store is clean, and the people who work here are always kind and helpful. I also love using the Dollar General app for coupons — when I remember to use them! Overall, it’s a convenient little stop and I’m glad to have it nearby.”

“Not every dollar general is the same. I will say that have more on the shelves than others do. The bigger ones have more items than the smaller ones but prices are the same. The staff is still the same nice and helpful.”

“This is the pharmacy in Jackson you can speak with on the phone to resolve any issues you have with perscripritions. They take time to make themselves available to you even if you have a question unrelated to a medication they dispensed. Their help is so appreciated!”
“I went to Walmart and headed straight to the pharmacy. I waited in line for a short time, and the people around me were friendly and made pleasant conversation. When I reached the counter, the pharmacy staff quickly found my mother's medication. The pharmacist spoke with me briefly, handed me my mother's prescription, and I was able to leave. The entire process was simple and went very smoothly.”
“I was in the south side DG this afternoon (2/6/24) and whoever the young man working the register was deserves a promotion immediately. Wish I had caught his name, but he had excellent customer service skills, and just had that positive energy. Give him a raise and promotion immediately! I would return to this location just for the vibes.”
