6281 Barney Rd, Traverse CityWe have used Tulmar for 8 or 9 years with two different poodles and 2 different cats. Grooming and boarding for each dog and just boarding for the cats. Heather is experienced and lovely. Her staff are nice too. Each of our poodles happily enter for their “spa” day. The only time I was disappointed in a cut was when they had to cut her shorter because it was best for the dog. What is best for the animal is always #1.

They were so kind and quick getting us in to be seen and were so kind when I was obviously upset. They were so nice to my rescue dog and were extremely thorough in their examination and follow up instructions. The prices were very reasonable. Thank you SO MUCH to Faith, Emily and the rest of the staff that helped us, our dog is doing great.

844 E Front St, Traverse CityI'm so thankful for the compassion and thoroughness of the staff here. I travel full time in an Airstream with my Border Collie and she became very sick with a parasite I'm assuming she picked up from some dirty water at a local dog park. Diarrhea and non stop vomiting. The Dr. recommended anti nausea, subcutaneous fluids and parasite antibiotics. Portia began feeling better very shortly. We then went to a vet the next morning for blood work etc... and she is now perfectly healthy. Very impressed with Bay Area!

2421 Aero-Park Dr, Traverse CityDr. Mason does a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. We have an older Samoyed who requires pretty routine (and a lot of the time sporadic) care, and Oakwood is always very accommodating in getting her in on a short notice.
Our other dog absolutely loves all of the staff here and is always very excited to see everyone.

You can tell they all have a passion for what they do! Recently, we called at the last minute for an unexpected trip and they worked hard to successfully accommodate him into an already busy schedule. While it doesn’t always work out this way we were grateful for the effort they always make for their customers and canine guests! We highly recommend Beau’s and wish we could keep them all for ourselves instead of telling the world about them, but seeing how happy our dog is when he goes there is worth sharing!!!!

Honestly the best food I’ve had locally in a while. 1,000% recommend trying at least once but I’ll be back since the menu is HUGE.

If you visit during the fall, definitely try the Pumpkin Spice flavor, it was my favorite and perfect for the season.
All of their ice creams are creamy, rich, and full of flavor. It’s easy to see why this place is so popular, a must-visit for any ice cream lover in the area!

When we came in Stephanie’s warmth, charm and friendliness met us at the door! She chatted with us about the restaurant and how it’s a product of her and her husband’s love for food. Everything is sourced from specific farmers so they know where all their ingredients are coming from! ? Our sever Vynessa ? was AMAZING, took great care of us, gave recommendations, chatted with us and poured love into her service! The food…. Holy smokes, it was so effing good! We had risotto, the flavors and textures just complemented each other perfectly, the best risotto I’ve ever had. The quiche was just as good and had great ingredients of rapini, sweet potato, broccoli, carmalized onions and more! We also had roasted potatoes and bacon sausage. We grabbed a scone and cinnamon roll to go, haven’t tried them at the time of posting this review. Please go here, support small, support local and have some of the best food of your life! P.S. it was so good, we went back the next day and it was just as wonderful! ?

We came in close to closing time and didn’t expect the full experience, but the staff was accommodating and more than willing to make our outing memorable and comfortable by keeping the fire pit burning well after closing time. We truly appreciated this gesture. Excellent drinks, even for non-traditional whiskey drinkers. There’s something for everyone here. Don’t be afraid! TCW keeps us coming back for more every time visiting “up north.” GO HERE for moody vibes and indulgent libations! 10/10!
