My journey began with exploring and selecting tile for my foyer, garage entry and 2.5 bathrooms in late 2023 It continued with refinement of selections and ordering in 2025. “As a devoted, long-term, frequent shopper and huge fan of The Container Store, I've been watching the recent Bed Bath & Beyond integration with cautious optimism. While the pairing made sense on paper at first, the in-store transition (which is still ongoing as of my July 9th visit) is slightly confusing.

The Strengths: The absolute best part of this location remains its staff—they are phenomenally helpful, knowledgeable, and just as fantastic as always. Also, prior to this merger, The Container Store released a brilliant new line of proprietary organization and storage products. It is high-quality, much-needed, and exactly what loyalists are looking for!

For Not-As-Frequent TCS Shoppers:
• Be prepared for a shift in layout and product availability. A massive clearance sale started in the spring, and some items are still heavily discounted in store. Main TCS items remain.
• I expected the new BB&B additions to feature heavy-hitting, high quality, kitchen tools and organizational essentials. Instead, there appears to be a current focus on towels, pillows, bedding, and general decor. Some of the premium Container Store lines many of us love, feel a bit sidelined by this new inventory right now. They have been replaced by an actual bed and products geared towards the college season.

For Former BB&B Shoppers: Manage your expectations before stopping in. This does not appear to be a full-scale Bed Bath & Beyond revival. I saw confused customers asking for small appliances, which will hopefully not be carried here.

Ultimately, I pray to the retail gods that the product and brand management teams at corporate will prioritize the premium quality and core organizational needs of their long-time loyalists over simply catering to the new BB&B foot traffic.

There is a reason it’s called The Container Store. We go there to buy solutions that contain our things, not to buy more things that need to be contained. Last I checked, a throw pillow and a comforter do not organize a single thing. TCS needs to stick to solving a problem, not become a part of it.”

“I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Amanda at the Jo Malone store in Somerset, and she was incredible! Even though everything was done over the phone, Amanda went above and beyond to help me. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel so personal and special. “Good place to shop, VERY expensive prices!!! The clothing selection there is very interesting from a teenager's point of view. They also have some unique items such as a "Joshua Tree" in a can, miniature tube man for your desk, etc. I wish that we saw Urban Outfitters get it's own separate store in Michigan.”

We did run into a delivery issue, and if this does happen to you, make sure you contact Ashley (the store manager). Ashley was incredible with follow up and making sure our items were delivered as quickly as they could be. We couldn’t be happier with the final outcome of our family room and kitchen.
