734 E Big Beaver Rd, TroyThor likes this place but today 6/5/26, 6:50pm pick up..dropped off at 8:00am… He peed like a racehorse upon exit… did someone even take him out for a pee break?!?!? He was panting extremely heavy breathing for an entire two hours after pick up which questions the breaks? This has never happened before.

3520 N Adams Rd, TroyWe’ve been taking our two Great Pyrenees here for the past year, and we couldn’t be happier. From the moment we arrive, our dogs are genuinely excited to see the ladies and happily trot off to their kennels — which says everything about the care they receive.
They get plenty of time outside, are clearly well looked after, and we love seeing regular updates and photos on their Facebook page while we’re away. It gives us real peace of mind knowing our dogs are happy, comfortable, and in such caring hands.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving boarding kennel. Pics of our two @ Jagersbo

1047 E Long Lake Rd #1055, TroyI've been using AAVH for our cats since shortly after moving to Troy in 2010. They have always been very thorough, compassionate, and willing to work with us on the treatment of our cats as they enter their senior years. But this week, I was completely astounded by their care for both me and my cat. On my way to visit them for my cat's monthly injection, I was rear-ended about 1/2 block away. My cat managed to escape his carrier, so he was loose and traumatized and didn't even want ME near him. I called, hoping that I could get some gloves or maybe they could come with a sedative. Dr. Birley and two techs arrived with equipment, got him into a new crate, took him back to the office, relaxed him, checked for injuries, and cleaned him up. Sydney even offered to drop him off at the house if I couldn't make it to them by closing. They eased the burden of a terrible experience, and the care they showed both of us still brings tears to my eyes.

As a psychology professor trained in behaviorism, I appreciate that they focus on helping dogs learn, not simply putting on a shock collar and forcing compliance. I’ll happily leave the animal behavior to these wonderful ladies!

Everything was pretty delicious. I didnt care for the octopus. After our meal, we spent an hour in their karaoke room. I have never been so I wasnt keen on the atmosphere. 1 sofa, big screen with a k-drama on only spoken in Korean. A lovely hostess tried to help us but it was somewhat confusing & the words on the screen werent in order. Id say the place is good but needs sone updates to the karaoke. All in all, we still had a blast.
