“Ive been going to dollar mart for around 18 years. No matter what meds i get prescribed, they always either have it in stock or get it within 48 hours. I leave my dr appt and drive 2 miles to get there and wait no more than 5-10 mins for all of my monthly scripts to be filled and ready to go. As long as i live in macomb county, i will always get all my meds from them. At this point they have my refills all filled before i even call them in. Highly recommend Dollar Mart”

They close at 6pm and at 8pm I received a call from my father that the pharmacist was here to drop off his meds since there was a change from the hospital. 2 hours after close and the script coming in before they close (6) they filled and delivered that late since my father was not at home and coming from the hospital. “Pharmacy was crazy busy at 9:30 and the wait wasn’t too bad. I can’t imagine working here because this is the most busiest CVS I’ve ever seen. I spoke with Amanda and she was such a sweetheart. Was able to fill a prescription for my father in just over five minutes and she had the best attitude. Typically pharmacies will have you wrap around and wait in line again and she was let’s just get this done so we can move the line. These are the kinds of employees that make customers return for future service. Thank you so much Amanda, you provided resolve for a difficult situation.”

“I didn't have a great experience at this CVS. I was scheduled to receive a flu shot and showed up on time. It was hectic at their pharmacy counter. I had to wait for about 10 minutes just to check in. I probably wouldn't return to this CVS, but I'm giving this location five stars because of how they handled a terribly nasty customer at the pharmacy on 12 November 2025.
This woman had a nose ring, dyed purplish/red hair, had purple lipstick on, looked to be between 45 and 50 years old, was caucasian, and was about 5'2 tall. She was the nastiest, meanest, most controversial person I've seen in a long time. She treated the pharmacy staff like second-class citizens, putting her hand in their face, interrupting them, and talking down to them all while carrying on a conversation on her telephone. Once she finally sat down and calmed down, she began attempting to incite other customers to become angry and to mistreat the staff. I was in disbelief. If I hadn't been turned away after their systems went down and I couldn't get my shot, I would've called the police because of how disruptive, angry, and malicious this woman was. I was hesistant to address her behavior because I had no authority to do so and she was acting in such an unpredictable, inflammed manner.
The pharmacy staff didn't react to her except to calmly try to explain the situation to her multiple times. They were patient with her, never taking her bait and never engaging in her ridiculous antics. I give the staff five stars for how they handled themselves. Most of all, I hope that woman gets some help for her anger issues. It's obvious that she's in a lot of pain and felt the need to unleash and share her extreme pain with those who she knew couldn't fight back.
I wish that the manager on duty had gotten involved and defended his/her employees, or called the police at a minimum. The way that this woman was acting, in my opinion, clearly warranted intervention for disturbing the peace. If I were the manager, I would bar this woman from this location and any CVS location in the Detroit area. Hard-working people like the pharmacy employees don't deserve to be talked to in the way that this woman was talking to them, no matter what mistakes they may have made with this woman's prescription.”
