“Five stars without hesitation. From the second we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and well thought out. The staff greeted us right away, stayed attentive throughout the meal, and struck the perfect balance between being helpful and giving us space to enjoy our time. You can tell the team is well trained and genuinely cares about the customer experience.
The food exceeded expectations across the board. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The ingredients tasted high quality, and the flavors were layered and balanced rather than overwhelming. Portions were generous without sacrificing presentation. Even the small details—like the sides, sauces, and garnishes—were clearly prepared with care. Nothing felt rushed or thrown together.
The restaurant itself was spotless, from the tables to the restrooms, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes, which is rare these days. It’s obvious this place takes pride in what they do. The recent addition of the chicken /fish carry out was a great idea. Had the chicken sandwiches and fries for lunch. WOW what an impression. Well seasoned and cooked. Taste rocked! Fries had lemon pepper on them a nice touch. Makes shopping day a nice day to get a treat for lunch as well.”

“This was my first time experiencing CFM, but I am very glad that I did. This review is pretty much covering their homemade spaghetti with meat sauce, which I bought today, and was made yesterday (they keep it in a cooler in pre-portioned boxes after they make it on Tuesdays [usually Tuesdays, sometimes Wednesdays, I'm told]).
Service was kind and efficient. I believe I met the owner today, and it is his mother who makes the spaghetti and meat sauce. Look: this is not the kind of pasta and meat sauce that is going to change your life, or blow your mind, or anything like that at all. What it is, is good, solid food that is quite affordable. For all of $6.99, your translucent box of food will weigh in at a pound or more, and it will be *just fine*. For $7, it's kind of steal, honestly. Again: it's not going to make you slack-jawed with delight, but you won't find a single thing to complain about, either, and this is based on the product being *reheated at home in my freaking microwave*!!!! That's gotta count for extra, being that it holds up pretty stinking well after a day.
I do wish I had been able to get a bit more of the meat sauce, but the gent checked and he was already out of the extra sauce he might have provided me with. That is not any kind of problem for me at all...I just wanted more sauce is all. Personal preference.
Look: for $7, this is far better than you'd expect. I'm not saying that the pasta is anything more than store-bought dry spaghetti that they make there on site, but they make it well, and no one is expecting the ethereal heights of the house-made pasta they have at, say, Giovanni's in Detroit, at nearly 4X the price. Is Giovanni's better? By far, yes. It's also $27 (that includes a salad and bread, too, though...), and this is all of $7, and I'm happy that I got some.
I shall return on a subsequent Tuesday so that I can experience it firsthand when it is hot and fresh, but be aware that, even after a day, this hits for $7 all day long. Impressive from such a small place, and you'd never expect to find it here!”
“This Meijer location is my go-to. No drama here, and it’s your typical Meijer, so it’s consistent with what you expect. However, I’m not a fan of them stocking the shelves at 10-12 at all. I have to maneuver around the isles and feel like I’m in there way sometimes. I remember when stores were 24 hours and they did the stocking overnight now we pay more for worse service. Speaking of which, those patronizing self checkouts… I have to fill out a damn questionnaire before I start ringing MYSELF up and can literally scan my case of water first and at the end I’ll still get have to wait for “approval” for the case of water because the overhead AI camera will see my case of water still in the cart and not on the bagging platform. I’m a bodybuilder and spend thousands here and when I get to the self checkout I can’t help but feel like as a regular shopper I’m not all that valued here or that the experience just isn’t what I’d like. The store has everything I need but the lady rushing us out the store on the intercoms at 11:45 when I KNOW what time the damn store closes and checking me when their workers forget to take off a tag just makes me want to shop at a smaller mom and pop store just to feel valued. Good store tho overall”

“I truly cannot thank this Dollar Tree location and their staff enough for the outstanding service they provided.
After being delayed and turned away at another Dollar Tree (Hazel Park) , I was already stressed and running on a tight schedule for an event I was responsible for setting up. I had food and supplies in my car and needed to get to the venue as soon as possible. I called this location to explain my situation, and from the very first moment, Sarah was patient, understanding, and reassuring. She listened to my concerns without interrupting and immediately let me know they could help me by filling my balloons.
When I arrived at the store, the staff was already aware of my situation and ready to assist. They took my balloons right away, checked that everything was in order, and began filling them without delay. There was no unnecessary questioning, no confusion about policies, and no hesitation. They worked efficiently while still being friendly and professional, making sure the balloons were filled properly and handled with care.
The team also showed great awareness of my time constraints. They communicated clearly with me throughout the process, let me know what to expect, and made sure I wasn’t left waiting or wondering what was going on. Their calm, positive attitude helped turn what had been a very stressful situation into a smooth and manageable experience.
Sarah and her staff went above and beyond what I expected. Instead of making things difficult, they chose to be helpful, supportive, and solution-oriented. Because of their quick action and excellent customer service, I was able to leave the store promptly and make it to my event without further delays.
This location is a perfect example of how customer service should be done. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made a huge difference in my night. I will absolutely return to this Dollar Tree and recommend it to anyone looking for reliable, friendly service.

“This place is clean and organized and not like other location you go to, but if you’re trying to find Enfamil formula then they don’t have it here. They do have other brand like Similac. I do shop here for other basic needs such as paper towels, toilet papers, milk and baby diapers if I don’t feel like going to Meijer’s.”

“Before I retired, I never shopped at Wal-Mart because I didn't like the way they treat their (underpaid) employees. Now I'm retired and living on a fixed income, so I can't afford to be choosy. I've read a lot of comments here about dirty stores and rude employees. The only store I shop at is the Wal-Mart Superstore at 14 Mile and Van Dyke, and while it's no palace, it's clean and well maintained and it stocks some items that I can't find at other chain stores, like Kroger, often at lower prices. And the employees have always been pleasant and helpful, often going of of their way to find an item for me. I'm sure not all Wal-Marts are the same. A lot depends on the kind of people who work there, the kind of store manager, etc. And I only shop during off hours, when I know they won't be rushed. I realize not everyone can do that. But if you've got a job, and you're in a hurry to get your shopping done because you're on your lunch hour, remember this is their busy time and don't expect them to drop everything else to take care of you. I'm giving this store (and only this store, because it's the only Wal-Mart store I've ever shopped) five stars because it's better than I expected a Wal-Mart would be. Just don't go there expecting it to be like Macy's, and you'll be fine.”
