“It may sound like hyperbole, but as brief as it was, this may have been the best in-store experience I think I've ever had. Only swung in to pick up a box of screws, but I left surprised and impressed. The store is clean and the staff were friendly and eager to offer help, and efficiently attended to every customer that walked in while I was there (there was a steady trickle), and generally seemed on-the-ball in a masterful way.”
“We are from Missouri. Gillett's was highly recommended by our Airbnb host. Great place for bait and tackle. Large inventory of boat supplies. Good fishing tips at no charge.”
“Great store with plenty of hardware supplies and more. Very convenient and helpful for a quick purchase house hold repair item or many other home items like a step ladder. And the staff can help me find what I'm looking for. As most Xgens know, in this day and age. Every hardware store is different within locating a specific item in a brand name store like ACE. I can always rely on any GOOD hardware store to personally help me. This ACE was a great help here with my 1 time need and hurried purchase.”
“Stopped in yesterday to buy a fishing license on my way up north. I was assisted by Austin, and could not be more pleased with his service! He was kind, polite, upbeat, and positive! He didn't keep me waiting and was fast and efficient! Great job Ace, for hiring kind and capable staff to serve our community, it doesn't go unnoticed!
Thank you Austin, for being a GREAT young man!!!”
“The two young men at the register helped me with my edger. Helped me remove the spark plug I could not get off, cleaned it, and got it started. Thank you so much for your help and perseverance!”
