Kim's Suds N Shears
300 South Venoy Road, WestlandI’ve been bringing my two babies, Journey and Wrinkles, here several times a year for the past few years, and I can’t believe I’ve never left a review! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer.
They do an amazing job with both of my large dogs, especially my male American Bulldog, who is terrified of men. They’re always so patient with him, and he does great here.
My dogs always come home smelling amazing, with their nails trimmed, and as happy as can be. They’ve also always been able to get me scheduled within a week, even though I need weekend appointments and require their male groomer because of my dogs’ size and my bulldog’s comfort level.
The customer service is outstanding, and it’s obvious they truly care about the dogs they groom. I’m so thankful I found them and would recommend to anyone looking for a groomer.

Michigan Humane Veterinary Center
900 N Newburgh Rd #200, WestlandThey are wonderful and very caring. Bought my kitty Jasper in that my granddaughter and I rescued to be neutered. When I picked him up, they asked if I had any questions and I did. The vet that took care of him was busy. They did call me later and left a message answering my questions. They have vet services there and you can adopt pets there as well.
Thank you for the care and love you put into Jasper. ?❤

Thai City
6570 North Wayne Road, WestlandI gave this place a try because of the Google reviews. I chose Thai Fried Rice. The rice was good and the chicken didn’t have that weird taste when I reheated it. The small portion is probably enough for 2 people. Even if you are hungry. I would definitely give them a try. The restaurant was carry out only when I went there. I would call ahead if I was thinking of dining in.

Other
Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue
WestlandI have adopted several different pets from this rescue over the years. This is an animal rescue, NOT A BUSINESS. Adoption fees ( not a purchase price) do not come close to vet bills that are needed often to get a pet healthy after unfortunate circumstances, & that is needed for health maintenance, & for healthy diets. The priority is to find the safest, best forever home for each animal. It is all volunteer run, no one gets paid. The volunteers put much of their own money, along with time, & care for the little ones that need a new home for all kinds of reasons. It has been extremely difficult for them to do fundraising during the last couple years. It takes patience & understanding that volunteers have jobs, families, & other responsibilities as well & the care of the animals are priority. I have never been disappointed in adopting. I have been thankful for the information for care since different animals need different things. After years of placing animals in new homes, they have learned there are just certain situations that will probably result in harm.
