“went to get groceries for my mom, she was up here for treatment at mayo. couldnt use her ebt card to get a few things while she was here since it was from Iowa. had to travel to a different store. I normally really like this store but was not happy when this happen. the store clerk said they were working on it but she was able to use it last fall when she was up here for her chemo/ radiation treatments. when I told her that she responded as if i was lying. she said, " that can't be right cause they never excepted it" . well sorry but she used it. she was her for 4 months and this grocery store is the closest to my home.”

“Visited this grocery store today for the first! Lady in the front was super nice. I’ve been on a hunt to find a good Mexican grocery store and this place is definitely going to be added on my top 3. Love it! They had a little bit of everything. They have fresh panela cheese and fresh meat as well. Great prices! They also had fresh, warm tamales; both the banana left (which are rare) and the corn husk. Will definitely be back again!!!”

“I go to Festival Foods from time to time, but I don't buy all of my weekly groceries there. Each item is priced significantly higher than the same item at Walmart and a bit higher than Target and Cub. I do like the store itself. It is clean, well lit, fully stocked, intuitively organized, and has a decent reward program with a seperate ongoing milk deal where the 7th gallon of milk is free after purchasing 6 gallons . The deli and bakery are both excellent. The staff members are usually helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I rated Festival as four stars because the prices are a bit higher than other local grocery stores. I do like shopping there overall. Plus, it's the closest grocery store to my home; It saves me from spending a lot more at a gas station convenience store when I need to pick up milk and a few other things.”

After 7 years of living in a different city, I was in MV to see my parents and decided to do my grocery shopping at this store last night! It was such a clean store!! I was very happy with my experience! Very organized and clean and easy to shop compared to the one by my house. “We stopped by Hy Vee today and decided to have lunch in their market place before we went grocery shopping. We decided to have hibachi today. I ordered the pork with rice noodles, veggies and terriyaki sauce. It was pretty good. They do have other places to choose from like pizza, chicken, burgers and another asian place. If you are in the area you may want to try this.”

“I have only had food delivered from here so far. Hoping to make it to the market and check it out one of these days. They are pretty quick with their delivery. All I can say is if you haven't tried their food you are missing out. Couple of my favorite things to get are the fried whole Tilapia which comes with a sauce on top and fried plantains on the side. My absolute favorite is the Egusi stew with fufu. The egusi stew is nutty, spicy, and tasty stew made with blended Egusi seeds, pepper and leafy greens. It has a variety of meats in it. My favorite is smoked Turkey meat in there. They also have a really good Jollof rice. Everything I have tried from here so far has been delicious.”

“I usually don't shop at Festival Foods as it is a bit higher priced than County Market. I will say that the store was neat, clean and well organized. The produce was very fresh but the deli section service was slow. I was the only person waiting and there were two employees. Looked at me several times and we're just socializing. Finally I said "Um think one of you two could help a customer?" Looked kinda bothered that I asked. I'd give them another chance as other employees were more than helpful.”
