“I have been wanting a sactional for a decade. Some people are happy as can be with a basic couch that they'll enjoy for some time and then move on from, but that's not me. I like to move things around. I hate commitment to a certain style or aesthetic, and I change my mind a lot. Enter Lovesac. Is the process easy? If you're me? No. But the staff here are PHENOMENAL. It has been quite a process figuring out my perfect sactional, and they are super responsive, helpful, and go above and beyond to make things as easy as possible. Shout out to my new pen pal, Wendy, who has fielded a number of emails from me over the last month sorting out various orders and exchanges to get things just right. Is it cheap? NO. But compared to how much money I have spent trying to find the right furniture for oddly configured rooms, only to be disappointed when the furniture doesn't look right, last long, or feel comfortable, it is well worth it. I need furniture that works as hard as I do. These old bones need to be comfortable. A lot of things in life are gonna let you down, but your couch shouldn't be one of them. I want a couch I can sit on, lounge on, entertain friends and family, and if I'm lucky, die on (now that I've figured out that I like lovesoft filling). That's money well-spent.”

“When I stay in Bloomington, I visit Caribou Coffee and Walgreens that are located in the same plaza. When I leave it, I always see this Target on my left. I had never visited it until last month. I needed to get lemons and honey. I thought that I'd try finding them at Target. This store is awesome. It has a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut at the front. The grocery section is amazing. I have never seen so many different ranch dressing varieties in my life. Then again, Minnesota is ranch dressing territory, so it makes sense. I ended up picking up a jug of AriZona green tea, too. Finding lemons and raw honey in a squeezable bottle was easy. It took me a long time to tear myself away from the snacks aisle. The toy section was next door. I loved seeing plushies, from Grogu to Squishmallows. Spring merchandise was abundant at this store. I liked looking at sandals, cute dresses, and more. I got a human at the checkout area. It was nice chatting with her. I paid with a credit card. She placed all my items in bags. I appreciated it. I wished her a good evening and left. It's a solid Target store. I look forward to returning whenever I'm back in the area. (161)”

Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
Wayfair is testing a new, smaller store design. The online home furnishings giant, famous for its endless digital catalog, is trying a different strategy for its physical locations. The company announced plans to open a smaller prototype store in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for late 2026. Located next to the Polaris Fashion Mall, the new space will span approximately 70,000 square feet.
Online furniture giant Wayfair is setting up shop in Atlanta with plans for a huge 150,000-square-foot store opening in 2026. The new location will take over the former Walmart space at The District at Howell Mill shopping center. This marks Wayfair's second big store, following its first location that opened in Wilmette, Illinois, in May 2024.
