“December 6, 2025 around 2pm. I'm at the registers and a store employee (I believe her name was Shianne) was assisting me. She helped me save a few more $, explained the rewards program and helped me with my account. At the end of my purchase she provided the receipt where she circled the survey at the bottom. I asked if when I was doing the survey if there was a place for me to add her name and give her the awesome recognition she deserved. She confirmed and after I was home, I completed the survey due to her professionalism, conduct and knowledge. Our interaction gave me a little extra boost for the day and I believe my compliments and appreciation did for her as well. Customer service has been becoming mediocre at best but Shianne reminded me that exceptional staff are out there. Thank you!”

“When I stay in Bloomington, I visit Caribou Coffee and Walgreens that are located in the same plaza. When I leave it, I always see this Target on my left. I had never visited it until last month. I needed to get lemons and honey. I thought that I'd try finding them at Target. This store is awesome. It has a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut at the front. The grocery section is amazing. I have never seen so many different ranch dressing varieties in my life. Then again, Minnesota is ranch dressing territory, so it makes sense. I ended up picking up a jug of AriZona green tea, too. Finding lemons and raw honey in a squeezable bottle was easy. It took me a long time to tear myself away from the snacks aisle. The toy section was next door. I loved seeing plushies, from Grogu to Squishmallows. Spring merchandise was abundant at this store. I liked looking at sandals, cute dresses, and more. I got a human at the checkout area. It was nice chatting with her. I paid with a credit card. She placed all my items in bags. I appreciated it. I wished her a good evening and left. It's a solid Target store. I look forward to returning whenever I'm back in the area. (161)”

“This review is to specifically shout out Jamal in the Men's Suit department. We are in Minnesota for a wedding and realized that Macy's had sent my boyfriend the wrong color suit (shhh don't tell the bride). We called the Macy's in Mall of America to see if they had the color he needed. Not only did they have it, Jamal immediately greeted us (by name even!) when we arrived. He had the new suit there all ready to go. We even ended up getting money back because there's no sales tax here. Thank you to Jamal and Macy's for making what could've been a stressful, nightmare situation as easy fix for us. Also, if you're in Macy's and looking for a place to grab food, there's a Cantina Laredo on the 3rd floor right as you walk into the mall from Macy's. I'm not a huge chain person (but hey, you're at the mall) and we had a great lunch here.”

The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Aldi is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the United States with an ambitious plan to open more than 180 new stores across 31 states in 2026, pushing its footprint closer to 3,200 stores by the end of 2028.
