“If you’re ever having a bad day, you should just pop in to this post office. You will feel worlds better after a visit.
We stopped in to get fingerprinting down and John and Patricia were very helpful and we had a great conversation.”
“Every big city should have a twenty four hour post office that you can mail boxes out on Sunday from. It's not quite 24/7 but close enough to get those postmarks on.”
“Best post office in the cities. Jill is the greatest. Helpful and a wealth of knowledge. She helped me with change of address, international shipping, and everything in between during my years of working downtown.”
“The nice lady Stacy at the office helped me solve a difficult and frustrating delivery issue. She was patient, kind, and actually DID something to help me. The apartment building mgmt ignored me, the parcel locker company passed the buck and refused to help without building mgmt, so I was out of options.
So shout out to Stacy at the Loring Park post office - youre the real MVP.”
“I came in today and Bruce was knowledgeable and kind in informing me about the different mailer envelopes and labels. I moved to the neighborhood recently so I am excited to see him more often!”
“This has to be the nicest USPS I've ever seen with engaging, polite employees. The lobby was clean and very well stocked. After using the self-service kiosk I started browsing (who browses in the post office) and the employees engaged in conversation with me and gave me tips for the best packaging for my shipping needs. The people who work at this location should be recognized for the pride their customer service and obvious pride they take in their work.”
“I'm giving a 5 star review because it don't make sense for me to put 1 star because the post office was closed and I didn't have an interaction with no employees but the only thing is it' says is open on Google map till 5pm but the door says closed on Saturday & Sunday please get this updated asap because I wasn't the only one at the location trying to get in”
“Small post office with great service. Two employees working the desk on a Saturday morning with no line when I walked in at noon. The employee checked the delivery window for the different rates, and that saved me $20 (because with a holiday coming up the more expensive option was going to take about as long as the cheaper one). Great service and super convenient!”
“This is the friendliest post office downtown! If you have a letter or package to send and you need a good walk through the skyway during the day make this your destination. It’s fun to find. I’ve never had to wait in line. Clean and welcoming. My favorite days are the ones when I get to go here.”
“Could not have been treated better! Long line (nice father and his 5 1/2yr old son) chatted with me...i kind of forgot how long I was waiting!
Finally my turn and Shawn was CHEERFUL and HELPFUL...all I did was mail an envelope to St. PAUL...
I will use this post office for the rest of my life!!”
“The building is mostly unmarked, so you wouldn't think it's a post office. Down the street is a large building in USPS looking branding, but it's a private business. So it's a little hard to find. The line was non-existent. Staff was as friendly as you could expect a bored federal employee to be. Overall, I recommend this location. They should add a sign though.”
“Great service, my only suggestion would be to allow more hours during the day to access the PO boxes. Making the PO boxes available at 7am would be very helpful.”
“The line is always super long, I just don't think it's fair Fred is always left alone. He always has a smile on his face and some pep in his step! You can tell he likes his job, yet I do think this place needs some attention.”
“Crazy. All these people leaving angry reviews and don't even realize that their real ire should be directed at the Burnsville PO. Burnsville is awful and responsible for our deliveries (or lack thereof), not Savage.”
“For the most part I really like this post office but the fact they can never take cash because they don’t have exact change drives me absolutely crazy! From what I’ve gathered they start the day with basically no money in the till so if it’s a slow day or even if it wasn’t and most people used cards you are SOL. An organization like the post office should ALWAYS be able to take cash. I understand from working in retail that occasionally weird days can mess up the till but this is a very persistent issue and it is unacceptable.”
“The best experience anyone could have at the post office, both workers, Gene and the woman working the front were so exceptionally nice and helped us ship out a birthday present”
“Incredibly large post office that is basically a work of art. The building features over 20 windows for service, along with kiosks and supplies for mailing. Highly recommend no matter the time of day if you live downtown.”
“This is one big honking Post Office! The drive through is easy, once you get around the frontage roads. There are two rows of boxes to ease traffic, which there is a lot of at this office. Exiting is easier then getting in, but that's all Bloomington regulations so we won't blame the USPS.”
“Employee was very helpful, quick and professional. I believe her name was La’vonya. I came in about 8 minutes before closing to complete a change of address. She answered every question I had and delivered great customer service with grace, Thank you!”
“Today I went to the post office to send a package, and I was helped by Andre. He was extremely kind, respectful, and very patient. Andre went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly and that I understood the process.
I have never met someone in Minneapolis who is so humble and helpful. His excellent customer service made my experience stress-free and smooth. Thank you so much, Andre, for your kindness and support!”
“As a Gen Z that does not have much knowledge about shipping internationally, I feel very thankful for my local USPS! This is my second time at this location and really want to show my appreciation for Graham! He is not only helpful but extremely patient, resourceful and addresses all my questions and concerns. Even though he was the only staff working, he is very thoughtful and I can tell the way he speaks to other customers is not rushed at all. Both times I didn’t know what box to use but he kindly found a box for me to use which he didn’t have to but really shows how he went beyond to address my needs. I’m really thankful and honestly never felt so much gratitude for a USPS staff like Graham. Thank you for making my experience so smooth!!”
“After moving back to St. Paul I started using the Concordia Ave Post office. The staff were ALL helpful and wonderful. Sometimes staffing levels were a bit sparse but predicting what customer demand will be at any given time is quite difficult. The staff still roll with it and get the job done!”
“I've gone to this post office (and had my mail delivered by it) for the last 10 years, and while it can be a little slow sometimes, I've never had bad service. The employees have been polite and helpful. My only negative is long lines in December (which is to be expected). I'm just grateful we still have a federal post office service that is cheaper than the for-profit services. Thank you post office staff who make everything happen in front and behind the scenes!”
Post Offices
“I've only had the occasion to visit a couple of times. The annex is a special place. While they can't do a lot of what your regular post office can (don't come looking for stamps or to ship a package), they CAN handle a lot of the things that your local post office may not be able to. For me, this meant getting some mail that hadn't yet been delivered. For another customer, it meant picking up a package that had been sent without a suite number. While it's a good-sized facility with ample parking (conveniently located within walking distance of my workplace), working directly with customers is only a small part of what they do. If nobody is at the desk when you come in, ring the doorbell on the wall opposite the door. You may need to wait a few minutes, as they've got a whole lot going in, but they are very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks, USPS!”
“Fast and friendly service. Stopped by to drop off a package on a Friday afternoon around 3:30. Only one worker and I was still in and out of there in less than 5 minutes.”
“Hard working individuals at this location. The office worker helped me immediately with my questions and concerns about my package delivery and got me out the door asap. This is definitely where I would want to take care of all my postal service needs.”
“We had a great experience processing our son's passport. Mohamed is so kind and helped to
us with the process, and his colleague was also so kind. ? Thank you guys!!”
“I went into the post office looking for a package that was set up for a re deliver. I would not be home for the re delivery. A lady of color helped me and Im so sorry I dont remember her name except it started with a C. It was 5:30 pm and I asked if there was a way I could intercept this package. She said that my postal carrier was probably in and disappeared for a bit. She came back with my package. I was blown away because I could tell she had a long day. I didn't ask her to do this.I sure dudnt expect it. She just helped me get my package. Im one who does homework before leaving a review. Whats it like for them, how are they being treated by management and customers. Usually when mistreated I find out that if Im honest, I could if handled things better myself. We expect so much from those who help us with little regard to there feelings. Just because there paid to serve doesn't give anyone a reason to be rude to them. Especially when there doing their job and something's are out of there hands. This is my opinion of course, buts its an honest one. I see all to often customers complaining about the silliest things that the employee has nothing to do with. Every time I've been at this post office I've given them a smile and I've gotten one back.”
“Shay got assigned to my neighborhood recently and she is beyond helpful and so sweet! We haven’t had the most consistent service this winter, so having her is a relief!”
“I had an issue with mail being delivered. Sent in a support ticket, and within the hour, AFTER business hours of the post office on a Saturday, Ron called and reached out and made sure my problem was taken care of. THANK YOU RON!”
