“I love this store. The staff are knowledgeable, the selection is great and the store is clean. It’s Rockler so of course prices will be a bit higher compared to a mill, and they may try to sell additional things at the counter upon checkout but that’s the nature of retail. Highly recommend at least checking the store out.”

He told me whenever I needed a screw or nail go there. He said you pay a little more but it is worth it
Well ..the other day that is exactly what I did. I needed screws for my bird feeder and had no idea what to get and Mike came to my aid.
His kindness and professionalism along with his knowledge went a long way. You would have thought I was spending hundreds instead of the 5.00 for 6 screws. I definitely will think of them the next time I'm in need(or just to go and snoop when I have time it looks like they some fun things)

“I have been going to this location for help for years. I have gone looking for help on some of the hardest things to find and have not been let down by these helpful people. Today I needed a belt for a gravely lawn mower, and the gentlemen who helped me told me he probably would not have the belt i needed because they are proprietary. Low and behold 20 minutes later he found the length and went to the wall of belts and gave me what I needed to fix the mower. I highly recommend checking with them for parts before going online to find something and waiting two or more days to get it delivered.”
“I stopped in to look for a small hand cart as I will be moving out of state shortly. I was very pleased with the help I received from Trey, who steered me through the different types of carts and ultimately bought one of the more expensive carts due to its (lower) weight and carrying (higher) weight, as well as other features I had not initially thought to ask about. I am very happy. Thanks, Trey, for taking the extra time with me, and then for loading in into my car! Can't fault his customer service”

“Need something specific? Need it quick? The staff waiting as you enter the store will help you find what you need. Yes, I go to the big-box stores, but when I need to be sure they'll have it, I visit Ace. Their hardware section is much more complete. When others are out of stock, I've found it here.”
“This is much like the old fashioned hardware store. The aisles are much closer together than a big box store. They are packing a huge amount of products and services into a smaller area. Their employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. The part I like best is that I can walk into the store with a bolt or screw and I can get help finding the exact match. Then I can just buy as many as I need, rather than a whole box.”

“I happened to go in looking for a discontinued blade for my 40 year old Honda lawn mower. Madeling, who was back there in the parts department, took the time and effort to find the right blade for my application. The service was outstanding and so the next time I need parts for any of my mowers, I know exactly where to go!”

“I have a love/hate thing going on with this Home Depot. This has been my main Home Depot shopping location since 1999--15 years. I have a lot of experience at this place. So my credentials are good. I like the fact that this store is never super busy. So it's easy to get in & out. I also know where almost everything is located. Don't make any Special Orders or get any At Home Services unless you want to get screwed up and screwed over. It's also frequently hard to find someone for customer service. And when you DO find them, they don't know anything. On the other hand, there are a few employees who have been here for over 10 years and that are SUPER knowledgeable. I always try to find these people when I have a question. Of course, these are normal people that take breaks and that have days off--so I can't always find them when I really need them. Overall...good with limitations. Come here for what they do best: Buy what's on the shelves, and don't ask any questions or place any orders unless you want headaches. -Daddy Maxx Retro”

“Excellent service over the phone! I called to ask about replacing a kitchen side sprayer. I talked to Rika, who was VERY helpful! It was the end of her workday [if her day ended at 4:30, she stayed until 5:00 to help me] and she was SO pleasant, willing to go the extra, EXTRA mile to help me in my time-crunch & problem-solving at every moment. In the end, my plumber said the side sprayer I wanted wouldn't work, but I learned that all future plumbing-supply needs, I will definitely be calling Ferguson. Thanks, Rika!”
“Frat’s is where I go most of the time for hardware. It reminds me of the places I went as a kid and the staff are usually pretty knowledgeable. Despite other reviews, I find the pricing to be fair most of the time or in par with big box. Yes, found some things way overpriced, but have also bought things like Webber bbq tools way under priced! No different at big box if you are paying attention. I go here also because my understanding is they help out the community and the same school one of my kids go to. If it is the same Frattelone family, I owe ‘em. Glad to see they are finally working on a ecommerce store, which I will use for sure. Support local businesses people, big box doesn’t really help our community other than some jobs.”

“There is so much in this store including frozen pizza, paint, household tools, bathroom everything and lots of candy and outdoor furniture. Great garden center however only orange marigolds-no other colors. Lumber selection is huge with a lot onsite.”

“This is my preferred store to get my spring mulch. They always have it ready for me to buy at the end of March or beginning of April. I walk in and pay for my order at the counter and two helpful customer service representatives meet me out in front of the store where they load my truck up; And, off I go! Easy Peezy !!”
