We toured on a rainy day in December and something about the weather with views of Lake Superior paired beautifully with our tour of the mansion. A gorgeous tour with an interesting history at a reasonable price!”

“My husband and I got married here on 9/22/2023 and we couldn't have imagined a better venue!! Everything was exactly as we'd pictured when we were planning! The pricing was very fair as well!The staff were incredible to work with; They were friendly, kind, and always ready to help out with anything we needed. They were also incredibly efficient when turning the main floor over from the ceremony to the reception!THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!!! We still have some of our guests reaching out to us to talk about how amazing the food was. We had a double sided buffet, which made the line go by significantly faster. There was even enough food for a good number of our guests to get more of certain items!The management team was also outstanding! In the months leading up to our wedding they were always one phone call or email away, and were very prompt in their response. They had every answer to every question asked, and always had such an upbeat energy about them!I can't recommend this venue enough!!!!”

“We rented the Moorish room for a wedding. It was a package including the normal venue stuff and the catering. They took care of almost everything. We did bring a few of our own table decorations but not much. The venue itself is so beautiful that nothing else is needed. Many guests pointed out how beautiful the venue was. Lily was our point person throughout the whole day from 10:00 am to about 9:30 pm. She did a great job of making sure everything was perfect. Of course she had sufficient help who also made the day go so well. They turned the room from ceremony to reception and gave us a nice lounge to wait out the turn over. Everything turned out great and we felt like it was a perfect wedding. I highly recommend Greysolon!”

“We had three of us and the burgers and fries were good , but the chicken tenders were extremely dry and overdone. Service was good and there was a lot open area and seating. One man band was singing the night we were there.”

“The name has changed, the food was great and service was good. Nice stop along I-35 for a beverage and dinner. We tried many items off the menu was we had a group of 12 people. We’ll certainly stop next time we’re passing by.”

“Great customer service is the only reason for the 4 stars. Shout out to Eric (food & beverage), Paige, front desk & Josh, maintenance… you all need a raise! Although hotel had an update in 2015, it seriously needs another. Great revolving restaurant view up top. Many layers of paint can’t cover up a general air of dingy in the rooms and pool area. Tacky caution tape on broken sauna.Could not watch TV more than 20 minutes without loss of feed… yes we let front desk know and yes maintenance was called… they did their best but heard same issue from other guests. Hotel is aware of issue but apparently figures not worth fixing. For people who don’t go out for nightlife, tv is an important part of relaxing or SLEEPING. Staff took care of us but if management cared, continuous issue would be fixed.”
