βStopped to get gas and use the facilities. Unleaded gas was $2.98 a gallon. Much less than most places right now. When I walked into use the facilities I was greeted with a smile and a "how can I help you?" I asked for directions to the restroom and was politely told where it was. As I left I heard "Have a great day and thanks for stopping." Don't hear that very often in a gas station c store.β

βGas prices are lower in the country. You can get a discount by signing up with your credit card. BP fuel is the major brand I use. Premium for the BMW K1200RS. Fuel mileage is around 40 mpg with my motorcycle. The HHR on the road can get up to 35 mpg. Around town 28. Always taking routes and finding BP stations across the Nation.β
βI came here to get soup because I was sick, they were out, but they made me more and because it took about 20 minutes they only charged me for a small cup of soup even tho I got a big! 10/10, this place has good employees. ?β
βI buy my gas here since I don't encounter problems with the self serve pumps. The pumps try to entertain you while pumping gas but I find it annoying. Being on a busy corner, leaving the station can be challenging.β
βNew owners took over around November 2024. This changed everything to Marathon. They are working 12 hour days to turn things around and have already moved mountains. 2 new great mechanics are hired to work on your auto's now. Great place to hang out while your vehicle is being serviced overlooking the roads. Convenient place next to Lifetime and Cub. They have about 12 tow trucks, many of them flatbeds for AAA calls. They also sell gas, things to eat, and have a car wash!β

βThe 2000 Bunker Hill BLVD, Andover CVS has been outstanding in customer service and accuracy, directions, punctuality, everything. The whole staff has been great! They always greet me with a smile and in seconds of my arrival. I am a regular customer, so they know me by know, but they were great in the beginning and continue to be great! I highly recommend getting your RX's from this location!β

βI've only stopped there once but the place was clean, even though it was snowing. They have one of those really long squeegees for cleaning truck windows, and that's really nice to have available.β
βI watched as your young employee Jenna helped an elderly lady leave your store. She needed an arm and cane to walk on and a little help getting back into her car. Well done Jenna!!β
βWhen I lived down the road I came in almost daily. I still stop in from time to time. Bathrooms could use a good cleaning. And shelves could be stocked a little more often. But staff is always very friendly.β
βI just went to Holiday to get coffee and a couple items on 4/28/2024 at 3:30pm CT. I was really surprised to see the coffee station so clean and neat!! The gal who rang up my items said she tries to keep that station clean, well let me tell you many really appreciate that! When I go to Speedy on University and Northdale Blvd, it has turned in to a trash haven, even their baked goods are hard. BKβ
βStopped there Thanksgiving Day the young woman and man that were working were fantastic. They greeted everyone and were so welcoming and genuine. I never thought I would be rating a gas station...but these two deserve a shout out.β
βI went in the other night got a bottle and after the transaction needed smokes too and it was like 10.29 or something and all I had was a 10 and 20's and the dude let the 29 cents slide. It's a small amount but its not something I see much of anymore and thought it was cool. I love the store and was worried after the huge changes they made but it's still the corner store I love.β

When she saw me walk towards the door she walked away towards the end of the building to give me space and not walk through any smoke. Thank you. βLucky's has been the epitome of convience in my neighborhood since I was a kid. (It used to be a Gulf gas station actually several years ago) It's been so convienent growing up in an area with a 24 hour small town gas station. Yeah it's easy to say there's a kwik trip or holiday not to far down the road. Or if you're hungry and it's late night there's several fast food places that arn't too far. But Lucky's has always been the most convient for me while on my home at 3,4 or 5 am after a night of drinking and smoking. The ATM here is a TCF ATM which is nice because that's who I bank with. There is a single bathroom for paying customers only. During the summer they serve live bait, I haven't bought bait from here in years so I don't know how good of bait it is. The place is a little aged and not the most up to date gas station but that's quite all right by me. The only negative thing I have to say about this is one of the cashiers isn't very good at counting money. She takes her time and I've even had to tell her what to give me back in change. I guess basic math isn't her strong suit. She annoys me a bit but I don't mind too much. Overall, this small gas station has been a convient stop in my neighborhood for over 20 years. Don't change Lucky's, don't change.β

βThe day after the Pfizer/BioNTech booster became available, I happened to be in the store. Stopped by the pharmacy with a simple question, "can we get the booster and do we need an appointment?" Answer was, "No, you can get one right now." Went home, got the wife, came back, got the booster. No muss, no fuss." Professional all the way.β
βThe Female managers/workers is a bit rude, it's not what they say it's how they act. Walking away from registers every time I come, just thought they was under the impression that I steal. I didn't say anything because I wanted to show them I was NOT a thief and I'm ACCUALLY a loyal customer. Today everything changed because again a manager walked away from the register when it was my turn. I asked I believe his name is JOHN why did he walk away and he stated the worker came back from the restroom. I work for a gas station, I'd never leave a register when a customer is present, help the customer then go back to doing whatever you had to do. Your in the CUSTOMER SERVICE BUSINESS for goodness sake. My overall experience with the holiday is a zero. Five stars to the gentleman that works in the morning and evenings he's really REALLY PLEASANT! To him I thank you for being a good holiday employee, you're awesome!!!!!!β
