“As always, Costco has very good prices for gas. The best time to go is first thing in the mornings when they open. Otherwise, brace yourself for long lines and a bit if a wait it also gest a bit tricky because they decided to close one access. Who knows why ! The attendants are very polite and helpful.”

“Aldie is one of the few secrets of the world. That I only discovered recently. Really great prices in a very compact supermarket so you’re in and out very quickly. And there’s selection is surprisingly great for how small the supermarket is. They tend to have sort of a European feel with the chocolates and breads and things they choose but at such cheap prices.”

“Not only is this a fantastic market, the prepared food is generally delicious. I stopped in to pick up some sushi (made fresh daily) and saw they had poke bowls, so I grabbed a spicy crunchy tuna bowl. The nice chunks of tuna and avocado sit atop a light layer of greens, a layer of sushi rice, and (to my surprise) a layer of crunchy fried onions. The whole dish mixed together was scrumptious. Behind me were hibachi yakasoba noodle bowls, so I grabbed a teriyaki chicken bowl and headed home for lunch. The hot hibachi dish was delicious. I hate it when I'm so hungry I forget to post pics, but here we are, lol.”

I will say the holiday season makes it a lot more hectic than I prefer, but that's just par for the course. I really just wanted to give kudos to the front end manager who replaced an item that I had left behind. I still don't know if I left it in the cart or register, but she replaced it without question. Definitely brightened my day!”

“I want to commend José at this Walmart who called 911 because my husband cut himself on a cart because he was bringing the cart back to the entryway and when he did, ran over a rather large crevice in the pavement, which flipped the cart up causing a cut in his leg. He was losing blood fast.José knew 911 needed to be called because he saw there was a problem. There ended up being so much blood on the floor. My husband began to pass out. The police administered a tourniquet (Scott, tattoo's) paramedics showed up and gave him oxygen. It was a HORRIFYING experience.I want to thank José for his help AND if THAT wasn't enough , we were in Walmart this evening and José was there. (Quiet Angel on earth) He stopped my husband to ask how he was. Wow. Mind blown. A caring guy worth his weight in gold.Never got a call from Walmart. Well yah know...liability and they don't care. But José did. It's people like him that make a huge difference in the world. Like a small stone hits the water in a pond and ripples out...”
