As a result, we found what we needed & purchased it from him. Also, kudos to Slumberland for making our purchase seamless & a one stop shop. We had just left Hom Furniture where we found a mattress we liked but they would not take away our old metal frame along with the old mattress. However, Slumberland does do this for a modest fee & when we found that out, it sealed the deal for us.”

After going to Ashley Furniture and HOM Furniture, I stopped by for a quick look at Slumberland. It was not the pricing (although that was an added bonus) it was the service and the fact they had everything I wanted/liked on hand. Angela has helped me on multiple occasions, over the last two years, bringing personalized customer service to each phase of my redecorating. There’s outstanding assistance with product questions and swatches but without any pressure to make a purchase. The Buy Now / Decide Later option is wonderful as well, since it allows the customer to capture a refundable sales price but finalize fabric selections up to 30 days out, even for online orders. “Rico was absolutely amazing. I came in one night and he was helpful and understanding when I was torn between two couches. But he also gave me space while I walked around. Checked in occasionally but I never felt pressured into anything or obligate to buy right away. Told me I can take the night to consider my options. Will make sure I still get the sale price when I come back. He was kind, he explained things well. He helped me understand the financial options available and how the protection plan works (must make a report for EVERY incident) but also refund the cost of the plan if I don’t use it during the 5 years. Definitely recommend Rico when shopping for furniture.”

“Couldn't be happier with the outdoor furniture I received from Yardbird. I looked for a line time trying to find nice looking furniture which was made of aluminum and would not rust, and Yardbird fit those needs at a reasonable price.
Not only do they have great products, but their team is so nice and easy to work with, and very responsive which is a big plus.

“Suzi at the Fridley store was absolutely amazing. I walked in with a budget and I told her what it was and I can’t imagine she made very much off of if anything. Even with that she spent over an hour with me calling different stores trying to get me the best bed I could fit in my budget. She had mentioned I believe she started in October and I can’t believe how much knowledge she knew about the whole store and all the pieces in it. I was there with my mom who was possibly looking for a couch and my mom never has a shortage of questions. Lol. Suzi answered them all like she was reading from a script, only she had it memorized. Another amazing thing I noticed between selling me the bed and looking all over the state and calling different stores she was basically making sales for other employees over her ear piece(walkie talkie) not only was my mom and myself asking her all these questions she was answering questions for other employees. The stuff she knew off hand was incredible. I swear she must study this stuff at night. I honestly think some of these employees that sold big items and got credit for it owe Suzi at the very least the best thank you you could think of, at the most part of the commission. Suzi basically made the sale for them by just answering everything the other employees didn’t know. She did all this without making me feel like she took any focus off me or my needs. If you go to the furniture Mart in Fridley/Northtown ask for Suzi she is incredibly knowledgeable, won’t try to take advantage of you and is so kind. She will go the extra 1,2 or 3 miles for you. I wish she was my sales person for any time I by anything. Remember ask for Suzi she is the Best!!”

“I have purchased a number of things from this store and have always been completely satisfied. Recently, I had been looking for a vintage dining room table that would be large enough to fit a large number of people. I found a table at MAD that was PERFECT. The owner arranged a time for me to meet with him to look at the table and also arranged for another time for me to pick it up. He was outstanding and very flexible with me given this crazy time of the year. Very grateful for all of it.”

“Honestly, I had been investigating a certain kind of couch I wanted. One with a chaise lounge and storage. When I saw this store I went in on the fly. I wasn’t expecting to purchase or find anything in addition to what I already had seen. Well, turned out, they have a huge selection of this type of couch, in many different options and colors. I bought it on site. That and two end tables and a coffee table. I would have bought floor lamps but didn’t see much variety. The sales person was so great and patient with me. I wish I remembered his name…. Anyway, my stuff is being delivered in a few days and I got exactly what I was looking for and even more options. And I want to add that my new bank card I had wouldn’t allow the purchase for limit reasons. The sales person was so patient while I called the bank etc. I ended up using their zero percent financing instead just to make it happen. Awesome experience. Great store!”
