“The staff went out of their way to find whatever I asked, pointed me in the right direction for what I was looking for, offered to check other locations for items that weren't in stock at their location - with a pleasant attitude and demeanor all the while. The staff working the evening I stopped by last all deserve at least a 25% raise above their current pay. Fabulous team!”
“I happened upon this fantastic bookstore while working in St. Paul from Texas. Was looking for antique shops to bring some gifts back to family. SO glad I stopped in.”
10AM - 7PM
6 W 5th St, St Paul“Have been twice so far. Got to hear a new release reading and signing with the author. Parking is pay in the area but plenty available on non-sports days. Patrick was a kind host, clearly passionate about making this a lively little escape for book casuals and avid readers.”
“The staff here is amazing. My husband and I splurge on a new book every Christmas for ourselves, and we take turns looking while the other watches our kids. The staff made sure we were okay and made us feel comfortable hanging out in the children's section while the other shopped. They definitely made us feel welcomed. Can't wait to go back.”
“I go here for the pharmacy. I have ones closer to where I live but, I tend to have problems with certain Rxs being in stocks. This place.....I've NEVER had a problem.”
9AM - 9PM
375 Radio Dr, Woodbury“Excellent service as usual. I put a book on hold, and when I got there, I realized it was not the edition I wanted. The associate got me the correct copy and quickly made the exchange. It's always a pleasure to shop here.”
“(Translated by Google) Excellent service and a very good selection of Bibles, literature, certificates, and gifts, I got exactly what I needed.(Original)Excelente servicio y muy buena selección de Biblias, literatura, certificados, y regalos, obtuve exactamente lo que necesitaba.”
“Very clean and quiet the staff is pretty cool they have Security on site that's always a good thing and no problem getting on the computers I don't really mess with the books but they probably have plenty of those and they also have an entire other side that's more like a college setting I guess you could say but if you become a member you can utilize that side as well they have all the machines that you would need copier printer Etc I would highly recommend this place”
“I just love bookstores. This one is small and charming. We were greeted by a little fluffy pooch named Sophie, which added a friendly, welcoming vibe. I added to my collection by picking some classic science fiction by C. S. Lewis”
10AM - 5PM
2225 Londin Ln E, St Paul“They have a good amount of books, usually having at least four or five for each book. However, they take some of the worst used books I've seen. Other supplies in there as well, highlighters, pencils, folders, notebooks, etc. It's very expensive though. I only recommend the books here if you have a grant or student loan. Otherwise, you can find these books cheaper elsewhere.”
“Great selection of all genres. I found copies of Mike Hammer, Edge, Martin Beck, some other obscure Penguin crime novelists, and more. Prices were good, some over, and some under the going market rate. But that is what is fun in shopping at the small friendly book stores!”
10AM - 5:30PM
217 Como Ave, St Paul“Bought some books to learn how to read and write in Hmong. They have Hmong Christian books, abc's, Hmong culture, love stories, scary stories, war stories and many other genre.”
11AM - 8PM
3001 White Bear Ave #1017A, St Paul“This place is amazing! So many good retro games and other goodies, they have the latest gaming platforms and games as well. This is game store is how every game store should be! Great customer service too!”
“I just love bookstores. I can never get enough. Half Price is a large store with plenty of properly filled shelves. I seem to always find a gem or two in the clearance, sci-fi, or horror sections. The wife always leaves with affordable cookbooks. In this era, where everything is digital, one can still appreciate a good old physical book.”
