As a book store, XIA has a great selection of books, with focus on AAPI authors. The store also greatly supports many local authors. All of employees are so helpful in recommending books.
The in-store cafe has many delicious drinks, pastries, and snacks; the barista is always so friendly. I love grabbing a Vietnamese coffee and croissant while looking for a new read.

“This small but mighty bookstore boasts an excellent selection of books in all categories and each time I visit I find something new that I can't help it by or something I've been looking for for ages and finally have found. The owner, Hal Johnson, is very welcoming and willing to help with anything you're looking for. I highly recommend this bookstore.”

“Well stocked and airy. Convenient to order online for pickup. Google Maps may give you as poor of directions as it gave me to get to the front door, but there is a parking lot with plenty of space and some street parking nearby as well. You can turn into the lot from either direction on Ford, though it is easiest if you're driving westward (toward the river).”
“3 floors of books. Discounted ones in the basement. Paperbacks are half the original price. Hardbacks are marked in pencil inside the front. Good selection of scifi, horror, romance, scholarly religion (Classics of Western Spirituality), poetry, fiction. Parking behind store.”
“The older gentleman working was very helpful (he even got down on the floor to look at the bottom of a shelf to help me find a book I was looking for.) It's a fun place to poke around and they've got some interesting titles, but many of the shelves are filled with cheap drug store romance and mystery novels that you find in heaps at garage sales. The prices are a bit high, but I like supporting independent booksellers.”
“Setzer Drug has been my pharmacy going on 5 years now. I trust the pharmacy - you get a new drug and they come out to explain best taken and things to be wary of. Personal touch.”

“Was cleaning out old engineering and Safety books after retiring. Didnt want to throw them out as there was still a lot of good information there. Was told that Books for Africa took them and shipped them over to Africa by the container. For example they have sent 400 containers to EthiopiaThey ask for a 50 cent donation per book to help cover the cost of shipping but I was so happy to have the books put to good use I gave more.Great charity!”
“Every experience has been positive! Staff are quick to respond to online orders and are more than willing to help with any issues with orders! The only “downside” is that (not at their fault) because of the nature of the store being both in person and online, sometimes the stock availability changes after an online order is placed. Again however, staff are more than willing to help you find a new size or item. I would recommend them to any and all St. Kate’s alumna and family!”

“Very clean and quiet the staff is pretty cool they have Security on site that's always a good thing and no problem getting on the computers I don't really mess with the books but they probably have plenty of those and they also have an entire other side that's more like a college setting I guess you could say but if you become a member you can utilize that side as well they have all the machines that you would need copier printer Etc I would highly recommend this place”
