“I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I booked VR playtime for my son, but we had a great time! The overall vibe of the place was fun, and the employees were very nice and helpful. Yeah, we could just play on a VR headset in our basement but it was more communal and fun being at REM5.I was also surprised that our food was quite good! Since this place is first and foremost a VR playground, I expected the food to be barely passing. Instead, everything was pretty solid! We had waffle fries, mini donuts, and pizza. If you want to try out VR or have a fun night with friends, your kids, your coworkers... I'd definitely hit this place up!”

“Busy yet spacious taproom. Staff were quick and helpful with ordering. Sometimes there is a food truck parked outside. We tried a few flights of their seasonal offerings and some were indistinguishable from each other. Overall pretty basic selection of beers.”

“New Rules was an amazing and affordable option to host my recent show "Planet Venus" highlighting femme & queer artists. I enjoyed both hosting and in the past attending the events here. My guests were very happy with the space and we had creative freedom to use it how it was needed. I'll be back for sure.”

“I come down to the river rats water ski show about once a year. You really have to come about an hour to 45 minutes early to get *A* parking spot! If you have the blue accessibility parking thing I can't remember what it's called to come up but it hangs from my mirror) there's a parking lot for you, across the street from the show. But you have to have the blue parking thing. There are Porta potties, the show is, the viewing is on a hill so there's plenty of seating, you have to bring a chair like a camping chair, snacks, beverages, but they also do sell like I think, hot dogs, chips, water that sort of thing, and that money does go to the river rats. About halfway through the show they do collect money, they will be wearing THEIR OUTFITS , so make sure you are ONLY giving money to the RIVER RATS people they come in droves and will be carrying buckets. I usually give them a couple of bucks.”

“What an awesome experience! Our child celebrated their birthday playing Laser Tag with 9 of their friends at WhirlyBall Maple Grove. Wes got us situated in our party room, and Rob helped us with our pizza and drink orders. Both were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Another crew member explained the rules and helped to coordinate the games in the Laser Tag arena, which was very spacious, clean, and had tons of fun dimensions added to it (walls, corners, windows, etc). The party room was clean and well-maintained, overlooking the WhirlyBall court, which was really fun to watch. There were NO hidden fees – the coordinators were communicative and transparent about how much it cost, what it included, and what to expect, which I very much appreciated. The entire staff were exceptionally professional, pleasant, attentive, and helpful in every way possible. This was a super great way to celebrate a teen’s special day!”

“I was visiting Minnesota for a week, but I ended up staying longer, so I checked out this gym. I had an amazing experience with the Xcel program (as an Xcel Diamond): the coaches were terrific in helping learn new skills as well as maintaining those I'd already had. They additionally have a great support system and the environment is one I wish I could've stayed in for longer. Legacy Gymnastics is excellent and if you are looking for a gym for yourself or your gymnast, this is the best option -- in my opinion, of course! :-)”

“I stopped in to buy a couple of gift and had a phenomenal experience. The store is set up for tasting many different flavors of oil and vinegar. Then, if you want to buy a bottle(or 5), the staff will fill up a bottle for you right there and package it. My personal favorite was the dark chocolate vinaigrette - it blows my mind that balsamic vinegar can taste like that. There's no going back to normal store bought vinaigrettes after you've been here!”

The website lists the food options accurately all of which was quite tasty - she especially loved the whipped Nutella on her waffles and the chocolate fountain! Everything was organized and clean. “We wanted Chinese food on Thanksgiving, well they were closed. So we thought let's go to the BC. Nick was working and they had the BEST turkey dinner we have ever had at a bar/restaurant. So much food and so good. I suggest, if they have it again next year, GO you will not be disappointed. And they had it for to go orders also. And yes you got a piece of pumpkin pie.GREAT JOB BC LEGION ON YOUR TURKEY DINNER.”

“Meat raffle on Fridays and Saturdays! Stay on your toes because they are exciting and go by quick! This VFW is always busy so get there early if you're going with a group.Food is about what you'd expect from a busy bar. Table service always seems understaffed, but they do a good job keeping up. My favorite is the pub Mac and cheese. It's just one of those perfect comfort meals. The flat breads are pretty good too. Big enough to share.”

“We stayed overnight to be closer for a very early medical appointment. The hotel was very easy to locate and parking was easy. Check in was quick and the staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable. The lobby is quite appealing in design and welcoming with ample seating. We appreciated the convenience of snacks and beverages available for purchase next to the lobby. Our room was large and very clean. We were disappointed to find the fan had been disabled on the heating and cooling unit. The room was a bit too warm and we wanted to use the fan for air circulation and white noise. Our only other complaint was that the bed was too firm. The bedding was nice and the pillows were very adaptable for any type of sleep position. We didn't realize until morning that there was a top sheet very tightly folded and wrapped across the bed so we used the duvet. The room had several handy amenities including a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.”

“This photo may look like an incredibly basic breakfast…and, well, it is! This is my go-to meal when it comes to breakfast or brunch: the old “standard” or “classic” breakfast. But, even though it’s basic, it’s surprisingly easy to mess up. Fortunately, The Lynhall’s version is both delicious and well executed in all the right ways. Two eggs over easy, perfectly cooked and still hot when they arrived at our table. Lightly toasted sourdough bread. Crispy, generously seasoned potatoes (soggy or overly greasy potatoes can be a real bummer). And, Impossible Breakfast sausage, which was a pleasant surprise. I don’t eat meat very often anymore and for some reason it’s challenging to find alternative meat options at our local breakfast joints. The Lynhall has a wide range of creative menu items (rye crepes to falafel to tea brined turkey), but the “Lynhall Standard” is perfect for me. Oh, and the interior decor is anything but standard. Be sure to check it out for yourself. And while you wait for your breakfast, don’t be shy about exploring the bakery case. (Shown in the video is a delectable blueberry muffin.)”

“Food was amazing! My unexpected favorite was the spicy fried tofu.I did not preview the menu and it was a little more expensive than I'd hoped for (approx $190 with tip for 2 adults and 2 tweens) but the portions were larger than anticipated and we definitely over ordered for the table even with my wife and daughter sharing an entree. That's okay - fantastic lunch for tomorrow! Will certainly visit again.Last note - dining room was completely booked and only bar top tables available for reservation; don't let it discourage you from booking! It still offered great ambience and service.”

“For the most part, the rooms are quite nice and clean. However, I'm not sure how recently the HVAC has been cleaned - my allergies flared up like crazy throughout the night in the room, and I hadn't dealt with this issue in a long time. Looking at a few other reviews, I've seen this as a complaint before. This hotel has a solid location in Bloomington. Complementary parking was a huge plus on the positive. However, the parking lot was slippery even though it hadn't snowed recently - I'd recommend they become more conscientious of this by using grit and/or ice melt more frequently throughout the parking lot to prevent customers from slipping during the winter months. Staff was decent - answered most of my questions as needed and were friendly. This was the first time I'd stayed at this location while in Bloomington, as I've stayed at two other locations here. I'd rank this hotel in the middle of the pack of the three I've stayed at. I'd say 4-stars is appropriate for this location.”

“Great venue with incredible staff! Alex and Austin were on security during the Lil Yachty concert and did an amazing job keeping everyone safe and in their areas. The bartending staff was equally as great. I was nervous taking two fifteen year old boys here but the entire experience was wonderful, safe, and so fun thanks to the staff!”
