“Matt B, George, Damian, and Jesse were amazing. They took care of our furniture and our house. The cost was well worth it. They spent 7 hours moving incredibly heavy furniture and sometimes had to move it twice when we got the room wrong. These guys are great. I highly recommend!”
“Clean space. Nice mgmt. The entire time I have been renting though, at least one door is broken. Getting inside is the most difficult access I've ever come across. Terrible. I'll be looking around again.
Update: Uhaul has bought out Extra Storage which is what this review was for. Uhaul has been excellent. Changing my star rating to 5.”

“I would like to share an experience I had with a young lady a few days ago . She is New but seems like she understands her job very well. When I came in I was very upset about how my rent rate was arisen and I have been with the company for some time . I told her with all these new people coming in it seems allot fishy but her sweetness and understanding is what took me away as Sonny said she came in to help make things better and get things together as I told her about the stranglers and some of us feel unsafe at times . She did apologize on the behalf of rent increases and did state that due to it being within corporate aspects there’s nothing they can do besides the options provided me . I can say some employees here are good for business and some you can tell just needs a job but the way I was handled I decided to actually stay . She handled me with care and respect very acknowledging and self driven even with her being new she took things in her hands quite well.”

“There are plenty of places to store your stuff in this city—it can be difficult to differentiate. But when a place provides a free lock AND a free moving truck—hard to call that place the same as all the others. Those two little perks got me in the door, and Pat definitely made me confident that I had picked the right storage facility. He was professional enough to show me the two units I was waffling between and even remembered my name in passing when I saw him a couple days later—it's a small thing, but big in my book.
The Lock Up is definitely where you want to put that extra stuff you just can't quite part with—temperature controlled, great perks, and amazingly friendly staff.”
“Lawrence and Nick delivered and assembled some office furniture to my construction site trailer, and they were extremely helpful, super professional, and were very quick! I told them I had just hurt my back a couple of days ago and they even helped move a couple bigger things around in the trailer for me so I wouldn’t have to. They had great communication leading up to our delivery as well! I would highly recommend this company! ☺”

“I am an auction buyer and have won multiple auctions at this site. Michelle and Kit and crazy helpful and kind. The security is great, especially in this part of Mpls and they even help answer questions when I win auctions at other sites where there isn't a full time staff. 10/10 would recommend.
I also rent two units here myself and always feel safe in there by myself.”

“The Acorn facility was clean when I moved in, and I got a unit big enough for my needs. They communicate well about insurance updates and price changes. It’s easy to pay my bill (I use autopay). The only reason I didn’t rate them at 5 stars is the price of my unit has gone up several times a year in recent years, coming close to pricing me out.”

This place was great when the last company managed it. Ever since U-Haul took over it’s gone to shit. They’ve raised my rent 3 times over the past year.
On top of that, I arrived during access hours one day and the facility was closed. Texted the after hours line for help with no response. Main U-Haul hotline said they’re not sure why it’s closed, but they can’t do anything about it.
If you’re going to hike up rent, at least let me access my unit during access hours??”
