The Westin Minneapolis is a historical hotel located in downtown, offering a unique blend of charm and modern amenities. Guests appreciate the beautiful views and the stunning architecture, with many noting the original decor's preservation, including a transformed bank vault into a wine cellar. However, accessing the lobby can be challenging, requiring navigating through various hallways and using multiple elevators, often frustrating for visitors. The rooms, while reasonably comfortable, are described as needing upgrades, with issues like weak water pressure and the occasional use of unclean linens. The hotel offers limited amenities included in the room price, which has disappointed some guests. The pool access is also restricted, requiring entry through the locker rooms, and some have reported concerns regarding cleanliness. Dining experiences in the hotel have received mixed reviews, with the breakfast service critiqued for being slow and orders often incorrect. Guests have suggested improvements to the coffee quality and overall food offerings. Despite these challenges, many guests highlight the courteous hotel staff and the prime location near attractions like the Vikings Stadium and Target Center. However, parking can be costly and difficult to navigate. Overall, while The Westin Minneapolis has potential, it requires attention to service and facility updates to enhance guest satisfaction.
Rooms were are a fair price, but food and parking were high.

We love staying here when we got to Timberwolves games. Great location. Friendly staff. The pool and Jacuzzi are nice too.

Dusty, heat was stuck at almost 80 degrees all night (apparently half the building had this issue) have to pay for coffee and breakfast at separate restaurants. Overall terrible.
