“Of course nothing is perfect but the public transportation has been essential for me. Most of the bus drivers have been fantastic. Especially Brad who was driving route/bus 539 on August 18th at 7:23am. I had taken the Red Line from Apple Valley to the Mall of America to transfer to bus 539 to get to work but due to construction on Cedar it delayed the Red Line and we had gotten and stopped at the mall at the same time 539 was about to leave, I was trying to rush to the bus but it started to leave (I was not going to chase the bus, do not chase busses!) But he saw me, stopped, and let me on. Brad is an all-star and I am grateful for his kindness and being willing to let me on when some other bus drivers would ignore and keep going. 99% of the bus drivers I have personally interacted with have been amazing. They are essential to providing such a crucial service to the public and they deserve more recognition. (P.S Brad deserves a bonus or recognition or a prize of some sort for going above and beyond)”
