“Service has been personal and excellent for many years esp. for situations with managing multiple and difficult to procure meds. Easy, friendly spot for vaccinations. When I got my RSV vaccination, John went above and beyond when he discovered my September COVID Booster at Walgreens had not been properly registered. I dread it when through insurance or for other reasons I have to deal with Walgreens or CVS.”

“Out of four surrounding states, this is the only other liqueur store that carries Wray & Nephew white overproof rum, other than one in Rodgers MN. They had plenty in stock and really came through when i was in a pinch. Would recommend coming to this place first before other large name stores. I don't understand why they are not higher up on my local Google search!”

“Per my insurance I've had to have my rx's filled by a Big Box store. After waiting all week for my refill, they told me they couldn't fill it until the 8th & to try smaller pharmacies. I called Setzer! Peter said they didn't have it either but to call their sister store, Lloyd's. I did and they filled it! Thank you Peter for pointing me in Lloyd's direction! I also am glad I was able to support a small, local merchant! Thanks Setzer!”

“I just yesterday started using this pharmacy, having switched from a chain. There was a mix-up with one of my prescriptions, which was the clinics fault in calling in the order to the new pharmacy. Both the lady at the counter and the pharmacist were kind and helpful. He looked up the missing med and was able to explain where the error occurred and what I’d need to do to resolve it.I already couldn’t be more pleased with the switch to this pharmacy—outstanding customer service.”

“This is my go to pharmacy. It is conveniently located, though parking can be dicey if you don't want to park in the ramp. The staff all know me and are very friendly. They are responsive to my needs and go out of their way to help me in whatever I need.”

“I will never go to another pharmacy. Ever. They have always treated me with respect regardless of the medication have a needed and have always worked very hard to get me what I need when I need it as quickly as I can you do that and they have even stayed a few minutes late. When I said I couldn't find a place in the parking ramp. They told me where I could go to pick up my extra meds. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate everybody in that pharmacy.”

“I'm normally a long term patient/cust of Cub in Eagan. There was a shortage of a medication I take, there was misinformation very unintentional last friday when I was getting a 2nd partial refill and was told I could go to WSP later in the day to get the remainder of my meds which were in stock.Unfortunately the pharmacy can't nor will insurance allow 2nd refills on the same day but it took hours and bother Peter and Justin here and my pharm ins company to get what the issue was and why I'd have to wait until running a day late and missing a dose to refill again.Just wanted to say I was appreciative of the patience that both Justin and Peter had with me and hopefully they can get recognized for it, I know WSP like Eagan are busy pharmacies so they care and consideration I get with both I appreciate, I just may as much as I love Eagan after last weekends experience use this pharmacy exclusively given the quality of service and care to me by staff.”

“This practice believes in putting the patient's needs first, before the pocketbook. Honesty and integrity is worth sticking around for... this is one trait that is extremely inconsistent to keep in business today and if you can find that, I say, stick with it, and the philosophy of all that comes with it!Phalen Pharmacy has always been a trusted source I go to for my medications, vaccines, or a place I recommend others particularly of Asian decent to go to. It's nice to be known by face and name! Their staff has always been respectful, and go out of their way to help me understand my prescriptions. They go the extra mile, and will even speak with doctors on your behalf if they think there is a better alternative for your meds based on your insurance and health history. It's honestly one of the most thorough pharmacies I've experienced!!Overall, if you want a pharmacy that is personable, cares about your phases of care, and bridging the cultural gap in healthcare, I recommend this place. Every place has things they are working on, but I can guarantee a mom n' pop independent pharmacy will have taken more time to truly understand you and your health history, AND advocate for you, than your big business chains (who are so short staff, they just want you in and out... like a fast food chain). So I hope those other's experiences does not overshadow the genuine work I've seen this pharmacy do.P. S. Not to mention it's right next to the Hmong Market, so it's a double win. Great meds, great food, great service!...P. S. S. It's unfortunate the different experiences of some reviewers, but during a time when healthcare workers have been expended and overworked beyond their limit, I hope you'll give them some grace... Also, fyi, med and med supply shortages have been a recent nationwide issue, so take that as you will... (Ok, off my soap box)”

“This pharmacy staff is amazing. They know their regulars by name, they go above and beyond for their customers. Don't get me wrong, they get busy, sometimes I have to wait, sometimes they have to order meds in. They are human and do their dangdest. But a little human compassion and understanding works. SOME things are out of their control. I know I can't do their job, so I let them do it with the proficiency they have! I adore all of them, and I've been going here for 30 years.”

“I moved out of the state a year ago but having recently had some negative vet experiences, the wonderful staff at Como Park popped into my head. This was my go to emergency vet for years. They saw my roommates and I through dog, cat, and lizard emergencies. The most notable experience was the night my dog, Rose, died in November 2018. She was 4 years old and collapsed in our kitchen with no warning. We rushed her to Como but I know now that it was too late. Even though there was a part of me that knew there was nothing that could be done, they took her from my arms and did everything they could, continuing CPR until the vet spoke to me and got my verbal permission to stop lifesaving measures. The staff was incredibly respectful and empathetic, allowing me time and space to mourn and not rushing me out the door. They handled her body and cremation with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially during times of stress.”

“I LOVE this pharmacy. The people who work here are so kind, they are so patient, and they go out of their way to be helpful. I can always get a hold of someone with questions or to slip in last minute med orders- they answer immediately (I have NEVER had such quick access to any pharmacy that I've called ever- I still hear the hold music of other pharmacies in my nightmares). I am so grateful that the company I work for utilizes them. I never thought I'd be inspired on a Friday evening to write a review for a pharmacy, but that is how much I appreciate these people.”

“I recently switched to CVS from Walgreens. I repeatedly had poor service there and they were under staffed. Since moving over to CVS, I have been verry satisfied with the whole process of refills from start to finish. Refills are done on time, friendly staff and easy to refill. Thank you!”

“Cub - St. Paul Phalen does an outstanding job of helping and working with their customers and I would like to commend them on that. Recently, I ordered on-line groceries for my elderly 89 year old mother to be delivered. Cub's Customer Service manager, Ann, gave me a personal call to let me know that they would take special care to make sure that she got her groceries delivery so that I didn't have to go out in 20 degree snowy weather to pick them up. This store continues to service the community with excellent customer service, kindness and helpfulness. Every time I am in this Cub store, I see this 'customer first' attitude in every employee that I have encountered. I would like to recognize them as employees that go beyond what is expected. “Cub Pharmacy has been amazing for me. Great customer service, knowledgeable in medicine, and they even know by name. Now, I've had a couple not so good things when I 1st started going here 15+ years ago but they have been good to me ever since. I won't go anywhere else. Walgreens? Not good. CVS horrible. Target? They were alright. Didn't leave an impact on me. Cub is where it's at.”

“I’ve been going here for my medications a couple of times a month for a year and I’ve always had a good experience here. Sometimes the lines are long but there’s not much to do about that. Even then, the pharmacists move the line quickly and make sure my questions and concerns are addressed. I’m very happy with the service here.”

“Best experience ever! The woman in the pharmacy that helped me with my script is truly a customers dream come true. She was kind, courteous and helpful, she went above and beyond my expectations. I'm sorry I didn't get your name but you know who you are and I thank you!”

“The best of the best! I've been going to Setzer for several years, as I'm lucky enough to be located nearby. The staff is always helpful and always friendly. They make my life so much easier! Their gift and card department is pretty awesome, too. I could spend hours in there. It would be a perfect place to go if you need a gift for someone and have absolutely no clue what to get them. Their sister store, Lloyd's, is located in St. Paul, and Lloyd's is a compounding pharmacy. You can even pick up your Lloyd's Rx at Setzer the following day if you don't feel like driving over to St. Paul. How convenient is that? You're probably going to pay less at Setzer than you would at one of the big annoying chain pharmacies, but even if it's the same, why would you go anywhere else? This place strives to earn your business, but more importantly, they work hard to keep their customers satisfied. I hope they never go away. Setzer is a breath of fresh air in a sea of giant corporate pharmacies.”
