They are a small store and as of recently business has been slower for a lot of Latino owned businesses so having a lot of old stock is expected but could still be managed better from the looks of other reviews. That being said I have been purchasing from this store for almost two years and have never received anything spoiled or expired. They have a very good meat selection, the tamales are great and I usually buy extras to freeze for a later date and I am met with a smile almost always. Give more small stores like this a shot, establishments like THIS are what makes us a great country. As far as price goes sometimes things can be spendy if you’re comparing to Walmart but reasonable if you’re comparing to Cub, Whole Foods or Hyvee, but the price of Chicken did go up here which has lead me to shop here less.”
