“We felt safe and welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our stay here will make any future stays anywhere else seem poor.Noteworthy details: The staff are what made this hotel stay so enjoyable. The amenities were nice but it’s the staff that truly won our vote.”

“The front desk staff came out and greeted me out in the parking lot. He helped me carry my belongings in because it was very late at night. Best service I've experienced in a long time.Safety: I felt safe arriving here late at night. The front desk was there to greet me and assist me with my luggage.”

“We stopped on a whim and had a late brunch. What a lovely little historic place on the river.Love cranberry mimosas, and this place actually offers them on the menu. See the pic with the runaway cranberry! The burger was huge, but undercooked. They happily redid it, although by then others were done eating.”

“When I initially booked at Celeste for a 1-night stay, I didn't quite know what I was getting into. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised. The art and history at this hotel is incredible and the price I paid for my stay was more than reasonable. The hotel is equipped with a private bar which was fun to spend time at after a long day of work!”

“The woman that checked us in seemed distracted. When we got our keys, I asked which way we needed to go to get to our room and all she said was to take the elevator. I ended up having to look up the hours for the pool and breakfast because she never told us.The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was decent.”

“Strolling into Emery, you're smacked with an ambiance that's trying hard to whisper "class" through its moody lights and marble pillars. But beyond the grandiose entrance, the charm fizzles. The decor? Uninspired. Service? Ghosted us completely, leaving my wife playing solo luggage Tetris with the rolling rack. Thirsty? Hope you like tap, because there's no water provided in the room. Comfort-wise, you’d find more luxury at a Holiday Inn. Four stars? I don’t see it. A very forgettable experience inside a pretty package.”

“The hotel is in a great location. Hotel and staff were both very nice. Rooms were nice and clean! Loved the Starbucks inside the hotel. We ate supper at the restaurant and food was delicious. Bar had a great selection. The salt water pool was very nice and water was warm.”

“Excellent. I visited Minneapolis to DJ an event at the Fillmore (right next door) and the Element Hotel was absolutely perfect. The customer service was phenomenal; they brought me a cart to help transport all my DJ equipment and they showed me where the hallways connect directly to the Fillmore. It was so cool, it was like walking through a secret tunnel! Super convenient, I didn't even have to go outside in the -4*F weather! The room I booked was really cute and comfortable; it had a mini fridge and a microwave, which is perfect for me and my midnight snacks. Additionally, there was a hot chocolate bar in the lobby with mini marshmallows -- AMAZING!! Definitely a highlight of my stay :)Upon checking out, I went over to the parking garage (also very convenient and easy to access) and found a flat tire on my rental car. Totally flat like a pancake! The staff was so kind and helped me put air in the tire so that I could make it to the airport in time. Big shout-out to Noah, thank you so much!! Overall, I had a lovely experience at the Element Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Minneapolis!”

“I remember it being Grand Hotel and haven't stayed since the switch over to Hyatt. Very good location..nice big room, nice staff. I was lazy on a Monday morning and ordered room service. It was good but think of a Dennys breakfast being served in paper takeout. Coffee wasn't the best and $4 for a cup not worth it. I would stay again but not order room service. I do miss The Grand. They had a great service when you could just order coffee to be delivered to your room the next morning.”

“Although we have stayed there many times, we are treated like royalty. We stay there because the rooms are nice, the parking is nearby, and it's close to the target center, and it's all connected by the skyway. It is a little pricey though, but well worth it to us.Rooms: Rooms are almost luxurious.Nearby activities: Close to target center, target field, and many theaters.Walkability: It is connected to many activities by skyways.”

“I’ve been staying here for just over a week and this place is all the vibes. The front desk is so accommodating and helpful, they make you feel like you’re coming home (special shout out to Thomas!) and the valets are so kind. I’m in a wheelchair and Howard always rushes to get the doors for me. Both sets! It’s honestly such a great spot. The rooms are amazing, cleaning staff do too tier work, and that rooftop hot tub with the skyline view is straight magic. I haven’t even check out yet but cant wait to book my next stay!Rooms: I with my dogs, and though they are very well trained and make minimal noise- they are still dogs. So they have barked a handful of times. I gave the front desk my cell to insure they call if there’s any disturbances and I haven’t heard a peep. I feel the rooms hold sound well without disturbing your neighborsNoteworthy details: The employees here clearly love their job. I roll through the lobby a few times a day and sometimes I’m a bit cranky/overwhelmed (recent amputee) but the staff always has me smiling by the time I get to the elevators. The energy is everything.”

“I enjoyed my stay here! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner was on site and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a fun pool area for my granddaughter and plenty of seating there. Parking free and a great restaurant on site. We will stay again.”

“Our stay at the Graduate was excellent. We had to go to the University of Minnesota - Fairview for a follow-up on my recent kidney transplant and we decided to stay at the Graduate. The manager, Chuck, was great and made sure we had a positive experience. Upon our check-in he greeted us and made us feel welcome. Kyle, at the front desk, was also very friendly and this made for an easy check-in. The room was awesome and decorated in a very unique style. A framed Herb Brook's jacket, a picture of Loni Anderson, and walleye themed wallpaper in the bathroom made for a very cool looking room. The beds were very comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. The hotel was very clean. It was very apparent that the manager and staff take great pride in providing the best and most welcoming stay possible for guests. The Graduate Hotel will be our "go to" hotel on any future trips to Minneapolis. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Minneapolis area.”

“The staff was very friendly and accommodating! I had to leave later than check out time and they held my bags for me and let me leave my car in valet parking hours after checkout at no extra fee. The hotel and room were nice and clean. I was confused on how to park when I arrived as there was only a valet parking zone in front of the building, but a simple call to the front desk cleared that up. I will definitely stay again! Highly recommend!”

“This hotel was excellent! We stayed here to watch a Timberwolves game and the skywalk to the target center made the visit so much easier! We never had to go out into the cold which was a bonus! Our view was great and the room was clean and beautiful! The beds were super comfy, I don't usually like staying at hotels because of the beds being uncomfortable but these were great! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We used the valet to make things easier I believe it was around $50 for the night. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we visit!”

“Quiet, restful gem! Beautiful decor. Enjoyed the reverse osmosis water. Great restaurant. Very pleasant pool area. Right in downtown. So many close-by restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Great location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown very elegant and upscale restaurant and foyer area.... Though I will pass on the butternut squash soup too the Salmon was delicious they have a picture booth area, very upscale restaurant. You can host many or something for you and a special someone....”

“Desk people weren’t happy to do their job. I reserved the highest priced room in the hotel which is the suite with the whirlpool. The suite was lovely. I have a 2 year old with me. We went to breakfast and my kid started crying over his food so I’m trying my best to calm him down. The lady then proceeded to walk over from the front desk and kick us out of the breakfast room! How ridiculous! I didn’t even get a chance to eat before being kicked out!Rooms: My suite was large and comfy.Food & drinks: Their breakfast was in the nicer side for a hotel. Their vending machines are cash only and drinks are $3”

“Perfect location for walking to the US Stadium. Despite it being such a historical building, it felt fresh, modern and clean. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly and our room was a little roomier then many standard rooms with the open floor concept diner, sitting room and bedroom. The pool is small with no hottub, yet the exercise room appeared state-of-the-art. By the way, their continental breakfast includes fresh oatmeal and the biggest selection of oatmeal toppings I've ever seen! It also includes the standard eggs, sausage, country gravy, bagels and waffles. Would definitely recommend . Off street parking is much appreciated.Nearby activities: Mill museum is close by made for an interesting tour.Walkability: We were able to walk straight to our concert at the US Stadium! During warmer weather this would be the perfect location for walking to the ruins, waterfall and nice big green spaces. Many bike/walk trails.”

“This hotel is just beautiful and comforting. All of the staff--front desk, valet parking, and restaurant were all super friendly and helpful. The room was large and very clean and also had lots of extra comforts. The lobby fireplace was nice, and the hot chocolate and s'mores bar every evening added a nice touch! Definitely recommend this hotel!”

“The only thing that I did not like is that you have to pay to park. They have a huge lot space Iliana an issue so I don’t unless why they charge. And yes I was a guest. Other than that it was nice. The staff were pretty friendly and knowledgeable.”

“Great hotel, nice rooms and nice setup in the lobby with bar and seating. Only complaint is the front desk staff were not very friendly and seemed annoyed to have to talk to anyone.”

“Decent hotel. Great price. Front desk staff was helpful. Room was decent. Good location. Not much parking in the area, but that's more of an FYI. They do have valet, just didn't want to spend that kind of money, when a block away it is 60% cheaper.”

“I regret booking here. $35 a day parking. $13 breakfast. $5 gummy worms.Compare this to the hilton by the airport with free drinks, snacks and parking.I regret i booked here.”

“Great stay! Historic building that's been renovated into a swanky hotel. The lobby bar attracts a decent crowd on the weekends and Manny's, a top-tier steakhouse, is attached to the hotel and worth a visit if you fancy a classic steakhouse vibe.”

“Room was pretty good. TV in room was terrible. Breakfast and breakfast staff was great. Bar was good but understaffed. They were very busy at night . Beautiful location. I would stay here again.”

“My favorite hotel to stay at when in Minneapolis. The staff is being helpful and polite, super accommodating, and extremely enjoyable to work with. To say that everything is squeaky clean would be an understatement. I will definitely be back.”
