“Choosing Semple as our wedding venue was the best choice we could have made! Everybody commented on how beautiful and unique the space was. You don’t need much for decor as it’s already a work of art! There are also so many amenities, such as the great getting ready spaces, and fun bar areas.

“The staff and manager here are amazing!
I had a very scary situation that happened to me near here, the staff helped me get things situated and sorted out. They checked on me often and were so kind and nice. I regret that I didn’t write down the name of the server but he was blonde and I think he had glasses. I was super impressed with the fact that not only did the staff check on me and my table often but so did the manager. You just don’t get that type of service nowadays and it’s the first time I’ve experienced that kind of service all my years living in Minnesota. It truly turned a very sour day into a great one which was what I needed :) !”
“I was was the officiant for my grandson's wedding service. The venue had many options, they were very professional and to serve every need. The wedding service and the dinner and after dinners festivities were all in the same location so there wasn't the need to go somewhere else This day in age greatly appreciated.”

“The tour was a ton of fun. I would have loved to chat with our guide for longer- even though his first choice of doctor has some to be desired. It's great to see someone clearly having a great time at work. 26 years of doing a tour is no joke!
If I am back in town, I'll try and come to one of the ghost tours.”
“The main atrium was really spacious and unique tho the afternoon sun was tough to deal with. Food service was good quality too. Very cool place for an event like the conference I was at.”
“I've photographed 3 weddings now at FIVE Event Center and have had nothing but great experiences every time! Robyn and all of the staff have been exceptional and the space it absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. The two getting ready spaces are very convenient and both the upstairs and downstairs have great spots for portraits and other photos. Additionally, there are some beautiful outdoor areas that are walkable too for a variety of photos. Looking forward to shooting here again!”
“When I was wondering around The Machine Shop, there was a soft glowing reflective goo near the back sort of by the bathrooms. It was making a sort of humming noise and I couldn’t help but feel drawn to it. The closer I got I realized it was a portal and I have always wanted to see one in real life. I went through it and ended up on this new planet, there was nothing but snow and ice. Luckily the portal went two ways other wise we would have been stuck forever. Keep an eye out for it, I guess people say it’s not open often and when it is open it’s not open very long at all.”

“We recently hosted a Playfessionals networking event at The Den at the Mosaic, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
The space itself is beautifully designed and creates a very comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that works perfectly for social and professional gatherings. Many of our guests had never been to this location before, and throughout the evening we kept hearing how impressed they were with the aesthetics, layout, and overall feel of the venue. It truly set the tone for a great event.
The staff and management team were equally impressive. Their customer service was professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. The speed of service throughout the night was excellent, which allowed our guests to relax, enjoy themselves, and focus on connecting with one another.

“This place, along the Mississippi, is such a relaxing place to watch the River Rats Waterski Show. They offer concessions, but I bring my own picnic basket, as do others. The large grassy area is on a sloped bank, but you can still find a sturdy place for your lawnchair or blanket. Plenty of trees if you need shade.”
“Fantastic place. I won a gift card to Vinaigrette and they were beyond helpful. They let you sample the oils first, know their stuff about what oils go with what dishes, and are extremely friendly. We've become return customers. They also personally delivered to our place many miles away. Can't say good enough stuff about this locally owned business.”
“We held our wedding reception at North Garden in October of 2023. Ryan and Tina could not have been more gracious and helpful in executing our perfect day. We had an unexpected issue with one of our vendors as the reception began; Ryan, Tina and their staff jumped right in to help us problem solve a solution, which we could not have been more grateful for. The space is a perfect size for all types of events, and Ryan's prior stage management experience is invaluable in helping to create the perfect internal atmosphere for whatever the space is being used for. We cannot recommend North Garden Theatre enough, and wish we could give more than a 5 star rating!”

“Victoria and 413 on Wacouta are absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with choosing this venue for our special day. First of all, the ceremony and reception happened in the same place so we didn't have to worry about transferring anywhere - huge plus! Secondly, we are huge fans of St. Paul and being able to have roof access to take photos with the St. Paul skyline was so perfect. Everything went smoothly and Victoria was a huge help on our day making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She was a great go-to person. The venue is absolutely beautiful - very good St. Paul vibes! We will always recommend this venue and Victoria to anyone!”
“My wife and I just had our wedding reception here and Perfect is the only word that kept coming to mind when I started trying to sum up my experience. However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. Every expectation I had was exceeded by orders of magnitude and I had high expectations. Do your event here. You will not regret it.”
“Twin Cities NACE group hosted an event here last week and the space was the perfect fit for our event! Working with Salena was great and she made sure that our vision for the event came out how we wanted it to. The venue is gorgeous and the food was amazing. The walleye sliders were so good! I would recommend this space to anyone who asked! Will have to be back in the nicer months to check out the patio space.”

“Staying here was my favorite thing about my visit to St Paul. It was so comfortable, relaxing, and interesting in the best way! Harriet island is very nice to walk around. On the Inn you'll also experience excellent views. I watched the sunset from the upper deck. Lot's of peaceful entertainment watching the birds. Not far from downtown but really feels like an escape. Has every modern amenity, despite being a boat! Came to St Paul for a conference at the intercontinental and stayed here on my last night, I wish I had stayed here the whole time! It is a very short walk. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I'm vegan and she made me a delicious breakfast. Staying at the Covington is really a must-do! I hope I have an excuse to come back and cannot recommend it highly enough!
Rooms: So cute and comfy! I was in the mates quarters. I wish I stayed more than one night. It was perfect

Walkability: Not far from downtown! I walked to and from there.
Food and drinks: The host prepared a lovely breakfast accommodating my vegan! There's also a fridge in the room, and a kitchen area in the lobby. I enjoyed having the kettle for tea. I got takeout for lunch from babani's nearby (delicious!)”
