I want to ask the next time I’m in how many years I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Burns and prior to that Dr. Sullivan at the same clinic. It’s been about 30 years. Doesn’t look like I’m going to change. I did consider a man Vet for my big dog, Sally, awhile back but couldn’t make myself change. This crazy dog loves men, an uncle, nephew, delivery guys from Home Depot, you name it. My small dogs, especially Jack, can’t wait to get in and out of my car to see Dr. Burns and staff and in a rush to get to the back, swinging his head back and forth like a toddler does when they bust your lip. They are all wonderful at this clinic, prices very reasonable and they get my animals well. I love these people!

We recently adopted a vulnerable shelter animal and the entire staff here bent over backwards to immediately jump in (and we were new clients with an unexpected urgent need). From the compassionate front desk staff (thank you Brandi and Savannah), to the lovely groomer to the incredible vet … I was humbled by the care and professionalism of everyone. Our new pet is thriving, in no small part because of the love shown him in an emergency. We will be clients from now on.

My dog started off acting like a wild animal before she went to Blue Ribbon Kennel, she was jumping on people, biting , and would take off running and not come back to me. It was so hard to work with her before she went to Blue Ribbon Kennel. After going through Blue Ribbon Kennel my dog had become a real good dog. She doesn’t jump on anyone, she doesn’t bite, and when she is off her leash she comes back to me when I call on her. I can’t believe the big change this dog had when though. This dog is a great dog now. If anyone needs their dog trained I highly recommend Blue Ribbon Kennel to train your dog. You will see a big difference in your dog if you try them out. I give them a ? for training!!!

622 Duling Ave, JacksonThis place is almost a hidden gem. Located inside Duling Hall. Duling Hall host live music, events, and home to other restaurants. To get to Just Vanilla, turn left at the main doors and past through the music hall. The eating area is pretty small but depending on the time there’s more than enough room if you choose to eat there. Just Vanilla offers so many tasty pastries, it’s impossible for you not to find something you like. There’s also different coffee options, as well as other custom drinks available. They also provide wholesale services and custom bake orders. Just Vanilla is a must stop for sure.
Apple danish- love the flakiness of the danish and there was a perfect blend of apples and sweetness.
Chai latte- great quality chai. Appreciated the fact, they offer dairy alternatives.

1220 E Northside Dr, JacksonThe Highland Village Shopping Center is a cool spot! It's located right off of I-55 and, once inside, I didn't feel like I was in the greater Jackson area. There's a nice selection of stores, restaurants and a beautiful courtyard with plenty of seating in the center. Parking is plenty as well. Overall, it just seems like a nice area to spend an evening unwinding after work.
