“Alright. I think they have only one dedicated worker, and she is always there. Seems they can not get or keep good help. The lady has a strict policy about Covid and the masks, and I like the enforcement. But she has on sunglasses and it's night time. ?? She's like that every time. I don't think she is blind, because she is there alone. Which is scary for a woman. I think the owner should step his game up bc that store is capable of much more. Just needs the right ingredients to get it back right.. Parking lot was like a ghost town and that is unusual there.”

“What a little gem! So glad we stopped by here when we were traveling! The HH deli is so good! I'm telling y'all, the house sauce is 100% better than raising caines. The breading on the Cajun tenders are perfect! We got the corn dogs and egg rolls as well. The corn dogs are huge inside! The egg rolls are great. Overall all of the food is delicious. The service was even better. We dined in on 03/05 around 5pm. The manager/team leader was fast and friendly and even showed recognition to her crew. Just a great experience out of something that was just going to be a restroom stop.”

“Quick stop for gas on the way home. This location is a little tricky. Pay attention to the entry when coming from off the highway and making the left hand turn in. I missed it and have to drive and come back. I didn't go in the convenience store. The transaction was made at the pump. My dad went in and got snacks and drinks. No complaints from him. “This particular ExxonMobil had gas for under three dollars a gallon, so I stopped in and filled up even though I was at a half tank.The inside has a Subway and the usual convenience store items.Customer service was a bit lackluster. Not rude, but definitely disinterested and disengaged.Overall, four stars simply on being cheaper than the other gas stations around it.”

“Great experience but there was a new employee who you can tell was having a hard time and had some kind of disability and the manager behind him kept looking at him almost to discriminate against him watching him really hard as if he was doing something wrong as he interacted with me. Bad management as far as you asked me with that whole situation but other than that I love palette I worked there before an has great everything else. I felt so bad for the guy”

“Where to start?..... A quick Sunday stay over in Moss Point found us in a Super Bowl Sunday dilemma. The Pirate wanted super bowl food. Easy....chicken wings. Fortunate for some and unfortunate for us, most of the local places were chain fast food (meh....insert sideway glance emoji here). The ONLY place that caught my eye during the search was Tay's. So we hopped in the car and in a short drive we see a shed attached to a gas station convenience store. Okay, let's see what we got here. Ohhhhh the smell as we opened the door. Holy Oh my Thank you Jesus kinds of cooking smells. A man appeared from the back and we asked about chicken wings, about 15 more minutes. Perfect! Fresh off the grill. I love barbecue and never make the mistake of ordering too little. 30 wings, a 1/2 rack of ribs, 2 smoke cajun sausages, pint of mac n cheese and the barbecue beans. while we waited, we grabbed some ice cold beer, water and a soft drink for the room. While waiting we saw several people order and go. Always a good sign. As quick as we arrived we we're heading back to the room. Every bite was better than the last. The ribs fell off the bone, the smoky wings were delicious with or without sauce. The mac n cheese, the beans......oh the beans. The beans were a meal in themselves with smoked sausage. I don't now how much love those guys packed into their food, but it was like a hug from the inside. We left Moss point and headed home, loads of leftovers in tow. The next day we ate again and I made a plate for our dear neighbor Yvonne too. I so wish Tay's was closer, but I'll tell you this, Ill never travel along Interstate 10 without getting off at Moss Point to get some Tay's. Always in my heart Tay's, always!”
