“I originally called the DSW location in Brentwood, Mo. I spoke with a young lady to ask her if DSW priced matched to the Steve madden website along with others. The young lady immediately stated “Um no we only price match to DSW” I said okay and hung up. I then contacted your DSW location in Manchester, Mo and spoke with a women by the name of Emina. Her greeting me was amazing which the last phone call I did not have the same. I asked Emina the same question and she informed me that DSW COULD price match with Steve Maddens website along with others. I voiced my phone call from the last phone call experience with her sister location and she apologized. She even went as far as to check if her store along with the original store I called had the specific shoe I was looking for in stock. Not only did both locations have the shoe in stock Emina called the Brentwood location and spoke with the supervisor about the situation and also had the supervisor put the shoe on hold for me. I was not expecting this but the fact that she did go above and beyond for me shows gratitude and care for her customers. I’ve shopped with DSW and because of Emina I will continue to patronize this establishment!”
“Ray was very knowledgeable and helped me select shoes that fit much better than my existing shoes. I had good quality Hoka shoes, but unbeknownst to me, they were not really the right shape for my foot. The new ones are basically the same cost as the old ones, but they clearly fit my feet better. He guided me also to inserts that improved the fit further, and also tied the laces differently to hold the heel better. (I also left with better socks and nice pants.) It really was a perfect experience for selecting shoes.”

“Mom stopped in one day to check the place out, no one ever talked to her or anything. She went back stopped back in Saturday to look again and said Ken was there and talked to her about what she might be looking for. She said he was very nice, helpful and not pushy. He greeted her and helped her out and told her have a look around and let him know if she needed help he would be right there for her. She wished more places had good employees like him. She said the way he treated her was a complete turn around from her first stop in there. She wanted to assure Ken gets recognized for how well he is with customers, even if they are just looking around. It would be 5 stars if not for the first stop in there.”
“I’ve bought so many boots here. There are so many to chose from! They also have a huge selection of hats, clothes and accessories. The staff is super helpful too. They taught my daughter how to take care of her boots.”
“Staff here is very helpful and polite. They want you to get the best fitting shoes that you like and will meet your needs. And will even order the right shoes if that is what you need at no extra cost. Location is easy to get in and out of even in Creve Couer on Olive Blvd... a very busy road. Love this store!!!”

“Shannon D. (What the receipt said!) is so sweet. We came and visited from Iowa to see my grandmother who lives in Manchester. She helped my husband apply for a card that he was approved for and she was our cashier every time we came back (I love this store!!) over the 3 days we were in town. She remembered us, made us feel so welcomed and had the nicest smile. She is very good at her job as well. We will definitely be coming back to this location whenever we are in town!!!”

“Update: got a call from Christy at the Glendale location. She’s awesome, totally made things right and then some! Go see her for your shoe needs!!!Bought a rather expensive pair of Birkenstock sandals a little over a year ago. Normal seasonal wear, not everyday. They’ve broken. Rep at the store says that’s “common and a year of seasonal wear is normal for a hundred dollar pair of sandals”. So just a heads up, don’t expect more than a year of occasional use for your money here.”

“I just had an amazing experience at this location. Recently I have been having issues with my back, knees, and feet. My doctor recommended to start buying wide shoes. I’ve never had a need to until now. As soon as I walked in an employee, Andrew, introduced himself and offered help if needed. I took him up on his offer and I’m glad I did! He was able to point out which shoes came in wide off the top of his head. He helped me choose a pair that fit well and also helped me try on two different kinds of insoles.
