“We have been shopping at the Tack Trunk since we moved here in 2023 and have always had a lovely experience. When my daughter started showing they understood she was only in grade school and had growing to do! There was no pressure to purchase brand new $100+ coat, etc... In fact they helped us get everything we could from their awesome consignment section! My daughter also worked and saved enough money to buy her own saddle and they were extremely helpful with that as well. Now that my kiddo is showing more and getting a little more serious, we upgraded to some beautiful RJ Classics & Tailored Sportsman pieces! They are so knowledgeable about how English Show clothes should fit and won't sell you something that they don't think will work just to get a sale. This is always our go-to place for Hunter show clothes and we've gotten plenty of goodies from consignment as well!”

“I could not be happier with our experience! This was my first time in and it was 20 min before they closed! I hate being that person but it’s the only time we could go and we hauled butt there after baseball camp. We just joined the tigers and needed to try stuff on so we could order uniforms, I’m new to club ball and Devin was soooooo helpful! He could tell I was frazzled and trying to rush so I didn’t keep him late and overwhelmed with all the options. He was calm and so knowledgeable! He was like it’s no rush just take your time! Such a sweet and helpful young man! AMAZING customer service! We will be back for sure not only because it’s an amazing store but to support employers who have people like Devin!!!! Thank you so much for putting this mama at ease and walking me through everything! This young man needs a raise!!!!”

“OH MY GOD. YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT IM ABOUT TO WRITE. THIS STORE IS ONE OF THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN IN MY 35 YEARS OF LIFE. Now before I begin I must tell you I am recently divorced and my kids don’t respect me. So when I walked in I was down in the dumps.THE STATEN ISLAND DUMP. hahahah. Just a funny joke to lighten the mood. But seriously my kids refuse to talk to me. But when I walked in, I was greeted by smiles and hellos. An employee named Tyler steel. Helped me a buy a pair of shoes for only SIXTEEN DOLLARS! What a steal right? WRONG. Tyler steel didn’t work there. He was selling bootleg sneakers in the fitting room. But other than that, all the employees are fantastic. EXCEPT THAT DIRTY LIAR TYLER STEEL. Also the fitting room, GREAT place to try and call your kids and then cry because they don’t answer. five out of five stars! Store was super clean and everyone was awesome!”

“Very cool store. I love the atmosphere of the place. The employees are always friendly without being pushy and were helpful in recommending products and finding the right shoe size. The prices are considerably cheaper than online but because of the physical size of the store, the variety isn't as wide as what they have online. Still a great place to shop.”
