“I had a great experience with Andrew in the store at the West County Mall location. I have a few events coming up in the near future (weddings and job interview) and I wanted to start planning ahead and look at shoes and get an idea of prices. After I walked into Johnston & Murphy I was greeted by a gentleman working in the store. After looking around for a little bit he began to chat to me casually about the nice weather weather we are currently having and recent heat wave we had. This was a breath of fresh air for me to not have a “car salesman” approach, so to speak. I let him know I was just looking at shoes to get an idea of what I would want and pricing. After I found a few styles I was interested in, he told me I should try them on since the shoes run big. After telling him I wasn’t ready to buy, he still recommended it and said it didn’t matter if I was ready to buy. This way I could feel the shoes and see if I like them and didn’t have to worry about buying any today if I didn’t want to. Well I tried a few on and he even put them on my feet, a service I hadn’t experienced before. Andrew was fantastic and a huge help! I really appreciated the customer service. When I’m ready to buy the shoes I know where I’ll be going.”

“I was having a bad day trying to find a cute plus size outfit and was feeling very down on myself. I came in here and had the absolute best experience i could ask for. When i came in Alishia greeted me and asked what i was looking for. I explained what i was struggling with and she smiled and got me a stylist. The stylist was named Natalie. She did an amazing job styling me and really listened to what i liked and didnt like. She really tailored the experience for me. Alishia also kept checking to see how things were going and they hyped me up the whole time. I felt so confident and happy. They absolutely made my day and made me so comfortable both in the store and in my skin. Ill definitely be back and i HIGHLY reccommend going there. I have social anxiety and it was nonexistant in there. 10/10 would reccommend.”

“I had a great experience at WHBM two weeks ago when I was shopping for a few key pieces for an upcoming women's conference. I thought it was a normal experience until I just received a handwritten note from Michelle that made me think back on my time in the store. I had never shopped there before but figured I would pop in just to see what I could find. As soon as I walked in, she was there smiling & asking how she could help. I told her I hadn't shopped in awhile & that I didn't even know my current size so I was very unsure of what I would be looking for. Michelle made some great suggestions even putting together outfits in the dressing room as I continued to look around. She told me she thought I was an XS even though I thought there could be no way as I was choosing mediums. She was right & I am still shocked. She also picked a few pieces in colors I would normally never choose that she said would look good on me & when I tried them on, she was right! I told her I would definitely be back & ended up wearing each item I bought at the conference, one of which for my professional headshots that I didn't even pick out myself! “Great customer service. The staff was very friendly. I had a return that went smooth Jada assisted me with no issues at all. I will admit I thought I would have an issue because the item was purchased online during the mall closure. I bought another pair of shoes I had to return to kids footlocker purchased on the same Day. I returned to Kids footlocker in July, kids footlocker gave me all push back and didn’t want to give me my money back due to the time frame of the return. Thanks Champs and Jada for making my visit today seamless. I will most definitely return to this location for that alone.”

Last month, Foot Locker Inc. reopened its flagship store at 112 W 34th St. in New York City, as part of new retail plans. The store introduced "Home Court," a basketball-focused shopping area created with Nike and Jordan Brand. The updated store offers a basketball-themed shopping experience. It combines customer service with the newest products for use on and off the court from several brands.
