“They sell hard to get sneakers. Especially Jordans. If you have time and money to part with, this is the place. The shoes are sold at least twice retail if not more. “The manager Wafi Taleb, went out of his way, and spent 45 minutes with me, to make sure everything was perfect. When I picked up the suit, Wafi had me try it on and made sure it was exactly as I requested. The seamstress did an excellent job, and I would rank them as the best store in St.Louis to buy a suit.”

“I had no idea this store carries a wide selection of narrow shoes! I have been struggling for years to find sandals to stay on my narrow feet. Now, I finally have cute ones thanks to Marmi! I used to think this store was for older women, but that is not the case. They have very stylish options for all ages. I'm so happy to have discovered this gem of a store! Customer service is off the charts great. It's local too, so definitely support them : )”

I get compliments every time I wear an outfit from here. The owner is super friendly and great at helping you find the perfect outfit for any occasion without being overly pushy. It is also a female owned St. Louis small business, so I'm happy to support them whenever I can!”
“I have several pairs of shoes from here. They are more costly than other shoe places but they are well worth the money. SAS shoes are very well made and last for years, instead of months. Many can have the insoles replaced. They are extremely comfortable, especially for my problem feet since I have plantar fasciitis and bone spurs in both arches. Richard and his staff are both knowledgeable and courteous.”

“I have been shopping at Shoe Stop for longer than I’ve been happily married, 27+ years. If my memory serves me well I think the location I originally shopped at was in Jennings. I have no idea if the current owner owned and operated the Jennings location or not but this business has been a tremendous blessing to me for decades. I wear a 10 1/2 in women’s shoes; a size you will never find in other retail establishments. However, my size is always in stock at Shoe Stop and over half of my current shoes have come from Shoe Stop. The store has a huge variety of shoes: cozy, dressy, casual, cute, stylish, they carry it all. The owner is always warm and friendly and is one of the nicest person you will ever meet and it is always a pleasure to interact with.”

Last time I went in I had 3 items of clothing that I wanted to try on. “This Macy's is one of my favorites in the St.Louis area. The associates in the shoe department really go above and beyond to assist you. The could use a larger selection of last act in the big boys.....yes, I love a deal... They've recently added backstage and I love it. Would recommend it to the world. The fragrance department will have you spending all your money with their excellent customer service and smooth sales skills. I just love this particular location.”
“Update: got a call from Christy at the Glendale location. She’s awesome, totally made things right and then some! Go see her for your shoe needs!!!Bought a rather expensive pair of Birkenstock sandals a little over a year ago. Normal seasonal wear, not everyday. They’ve broken. Rep at the store says that’s “common and a year of seasonal wear is normal for a hundred dollar pair of sandals”. So just a heads up, don’t expect more than a year of occasional use for your money here.”
“I just had an amazing experience at this location. Recently I have been having issues with my back, knees, and feet. My doctor recommended to start buying wide shoes. I’ve never had a need to until now. As soon as I walked in an employee, Andrew, introduced himself and offered help if needed. I took him up on his offer and I’m glad I did! He was able to point out which shoes came in wide off the top of his head. He helped me choose a pair that fit well and also helped me try on two different kinds of insoles. My feet already feel better and I walked out of the store with my new shoes and insoles. Thank you, Andrew!”

“After trying a pair of Hokas that I didn't like for a couple months, I had to go back to old reliable New Balance and this store is the right place to go. I've been to many different stores over the years and my conclusion is you need to go to a dedicated NB store for your purchase. I've been to this store 3 times and one thing you can count on when going to a NB store is the knowledge of their staff. My salesperson got me the right size shoe of the model I wanted and the correct insole for my high instep. I left their a happy camper and will go back for my next pair.”
