“The appearance of the store was total chaos. You couldn't walk down half the isles. Either boxes of merchandise or racks of clothing blocked isles. These stores are being ran without the proper staffing. You cannot expect two people to run a store. That's all that seems to be there and your manager needs a raise! This poor man does his best with what little help he is given! He always had a smile on his face, was always so polite and helpful. Will I return? You bet! Why? Bc I understand the situation and I don't want this store to close. I support this company. I can't stand the competition they have. Plus the staff is friendly and courteous, I save money! They have great products at half the price. The lawn and garden section is just too cute! I always find something to add to my gardens/gardening supplies. They carry a decent selection of yoga and gym attire, makeup, household goods, smell goods for your home and car. There's something for everyone!”

“Such a great place! I feel like it's a hidden gem! It's like hobby lobby on steroids! But with out the crafts and MUCH easier to find things. All the tables are in one huge area ( great selection) end tables side tables bedside tables.. desks.. behind the couch you name it they have it..Rugs runners mats.. towels lamps bed spreads comforter sets and sets sheets. Throw Pillows and much more in the house Houseware stuff.. kitchen gadgets pots pans cleaning supplies etc...Then all the decor!!!!! Floral stems flowers such a great selectionAnd so much more!!! Clothes socks shoes purses..Decor for outside inside garden stuff... It's just crazy all the wide range of inventory they haveIt's worth the stop for sure!”

“Friendly staff, helpful and courteous. We drive 25 miles (round trip) just to buy tobacco products from this little store. My wife said " Why do you do this, we're using gas money for what we save!" I said " honey, I'd drive 50 miles round trip just to buy one pack of cigarettes." She said" I bet you'd walk a mile for a camel, too..." Anyway the pinball machines are fun and the pool table is still only 50¢ a game. The snack bar has the best burger and fries in town, and being nice people, they won't kick you out unless you really deserve it. Great smoke shop!! ?☘️???”

“As a follow up to my earlier review describing a concern about my debit card charges...Mr. Morefield went to the trouble to seek out my number and called me to let me know they had found their error and had corrected the charges to the bank. It was a series of unusual circumstances that prevented me from reaching them by phone. Mr. Morehead was so kind and apologetic about the mixup. I appreciate his efforts in reaching out to me.My previous post:I"ve loved shopping at Morefields a handful of times and have always found great deals. I shopped yesterday and spent $48. Today, I see that my debit card transaction was for $480. I've tried reaching them by phone all morning...no answer at either the Independence or Leavenworth location. The webiste link leads to nothing. I'm not on facebook so can't try to reach them that way. I live quite a way from the location. I want to believe that it was a accident on their part. But I'm concerned that I can't reach the business. Seems like it should be easier to reach them to recitify the issue by phone.”

“This is my go-to Dollar General because it's super close to my house. They have what I need 99% of the time; if they don't I usually knew it was a long shot going in.They always have something on sale that I decide I need for some reason or other.Example: It's a great place to get planters. Which isn't to say they carry a lot of planters. They do not. 50% off mug? Drill a hole in it: now it's a planter. Plastic basket? Add some holes: now it's a planter! Serving tray? Now it's a repotting tray. You get the point. Their lack of planters doesn't mean it's not a great place to get planters.Also, cheap Gatorade. Summer is coming. Stay hydrated.”

“It's a great place to go to when you're in between the big box stores it's in walking distance to where I live which is convenience for me as I do not have a car it's great cuz it offers convenient quick in and quick out stuff when you're in between big box stores when you just need maybe one or two items or you need a whole month what the stuff. I can get all my hygiene products laundry needs animal supplies like for my cat you can even bed sheets bathroom towels kitchen towels some kitchen supplies like I said it's great for when you're in between the big box stores when you just need a few items and you don't want to go all the way out to a big box store.”

“A bit disorganized but thats what makes a crazy bin store fun... The boxes are sometimes not labeled so it's hard to tell what some things are without opening them and seeing what it is. And in doing so some people will loose parts or steal them. In which I was talked to by one of the employees about it.. but the owner heard the situation and explained if I want to open boxes to bring them up and they will do so goe you which is kind of annoying. But the owner was polite and helpful and you can find some great deals if you look for them. Overall was a good treasure hunting experience..”
