Using this ointment once a day has helped them stay moisturized and we didn’t have one incident of them opening this spring. My dog who got skin scabs last year due to allergies did not get any this year when I kept up on baths with the allergy shampoo! I am super impressed by how well these worked!

But Weston met w me I showed him the prior grooming pic saying I don't like that! He looked at her pointed out she had some matting but said he would do his best. Weston rocks....Ginger is beautiful! Steve and Rusty do a great job of giving love and attention to all the dogs there. They work very hard to provide a place that is safe for your dog and yet keep their prices down. Talk with them and you will find two men with a passion for taking care of dogs. You can spend more but you will not get more canine love. I have had them watch my dog Rufus for over a year now and am very pleased with what they have done. I have attached a picture of Rufus in play there. Can't you see the smile?

16021 E US Hwy 40, Kansas CityWe absolutely love, Dr. Epstein, Damon and unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but the kid with the glasses that works at the front desk as well. We started going to him back during the solar eclipse when we needed our dogs boarded and have been going to him ever since. I went to the vet school for a few years and had to drop out so I’m very picky and who I bring my animals too, but there’s not enough words in the dictionary to describe how much I love this vet! We have two dogs and three cats and Monday, December 15, 2025. We had to put down our 15-year-old ciao retriever mix who had a tumor and severe hip dysplasia and last year Dr. Epstein tried to remove the tumor, but my dog went into respiratory distress and it couldn’t be done. So for the past year, he kept him comfortable on medication, checking his blood work and stuff often and just maintaining the quality of life that he had left. Monday after hard consideration, we decided to bring him in and have him put down and Dr. Epstein and the kid with glasses pretty much waited until the clinic cleared out, and we were there by ourselves and not only did he give us one on one attention but they were so sweet and that’s what I like the most about him as he’s not gonna feed you a line of crap he’s realistic with expectations and what normal people can afford for their pets. once the clinic closed Monday, he let us lay with our dog for as long as we wanted and told us we could have as long as we wanted, and if Jeremy and I waited until midnight to leave our dog, I know that would’ve been OK like I said, he’s very compassionate. I appreciate him and everything he’s ever done everything he’s ever told us has been correct and I have the most respect for him. I will not bring any of my animals to anybody but him so I hope he’s around for a long time.
His prices are extremely reasonable as well I mean, unfortunately some places are all about profit, but you can really tell that this guy actually cares about your animal and he cares about what you think is pet parents. You definitely should go check him out. I guarantee you’ll fall in love with these guys like we did so thank you guys for helping with Kodiak on Monday because that was the hardest decision we ever had to make, but I know you made his passing so much more better than it would’ve been anywhere else. I thank you for that deeply!!!!!

I explained her situation, and Sheryl was extremely kind and understanding, even going so far as to explain that they are a busy location with lots of animals and groomers, and would probably not be the best place for a skittish dog that has never been groomed before to have their first experience. She then proceeded to help me think of some recommendations of small trusted groomers that might be a better fit.
While I'm disappointed, I am so thankful for her honesty, transparency, and understanding. This is the kind of place that cares for animals more than they care for money.

Our basset hound puppy, Gouda, saw Dr. Hodge, who was wonderful and took the time to explain everything clearly. Liberty assisted during the visit and was amazing with Gouda, making him feel comfortable and at ease. You can truly tell this team cares about their patients and their people.
We have another visit scheduled in three weeks for Gouda’s next vaccine and puppy wellness check, and we feel very confident continuing his care here. Highly recommend!

After months of keeping them separate, trying to work it out on our own, and my wife and I residing on different levels of the house, we raised the white flag and looked to an actual expert...cue, Beyond the Dog.Outcome: Erin met with us a few times a week for multiple months and was able to get the pugs back in the right mindset and bring sanity back to our household. She was so efficient that near the tail end [pun intended] she found time to also work on their responsiveness to strangers both at the park and at retail locations. I will be the first to admit that I was skeptical of how all of this would pan out - especially given the monetary cost that bringing an expert in entails. That said, the harmony restored to our household, coupled with my wife's joy in being able to take group photos again, quickly converted the cost into an investment. They have a monthly party for birthdays and usually another party in the month where they take pictures for a minimal fee. And those pictures are the best!

They have super good pastries if you need a snack, as well as some lunch sandwich options. In the afternoons they also serve alcoholic beverages, but i have yet to give them a try. Their chai and coffee drinks are both delicious! Don't forget to give Stout some pets before you leave.
