Angelo walked me through the new engine installation process and explained everything from start to finish. They even towed my Jeep to shop. After 5 days, which is extremely fast, and was also told 5-10 business days for completion (Also fast in my experience), my Jeep was ready for pick-up. Thus far Ive been very pleased with the work. “I've taken one of our vehicles here a couple of times when our usual auto shop hasn't been an option. So far, this has been a great alternative and will use them more often.

I was happy to finally go to an auto shop that provides pictures, video, descriptions, and estimates (via a linked text) for me to review of various recommendations they have after taking care of the primary reasons for my appointment. This makes it much easier to review and sort through which issues I may (or may not) want to fix at that moment. Way more efficient and overwhelming than going to a place and they rattle off 1/2 a dozen things over the phone with a total cost of hundreds of dollars. Leaving the customer wondering what actually needs to be fixed and what is just unnecessary extras, and without any visual references to what is going on under the hood.

“I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with AAMCO was so exceptional that I felt I needed to share it.

When my Jeep broke down, I was stressed, overwhelmed, and worried about how I was going to get it repaired. To make matters worse, I didn't have towing coverage through my insurance, and getting the vehicle to a shop was going to cost me a fortune before I even knew what was wrong with it.

This is where Josh and the team immediately stood out from every other repair shop I've ever dealt with. They helped arrange a tow for my Jeep and got it to the shop when I wasn't sure what I was going to do. They didn't have to do that, but they did, and it set the tone for the entire experience.

Once my Jeep arrived, Josh kept me updated every step of the way. He explained everything clearly, answered every question I had, and made sure I understood exactly what repairs were needed and why. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. Instead, I felt like someone was genuinely looking out for me and helping me make the best decision for my vehicle.

What surprised me most was learning that AAMCO does so much more than transmissions. The repairs performed on my Jeep were extensive and included replacing both front CV axles, a rear axle, a rear lateral link, a rear trailing arm, a control arm and ball joint, and then properly adjusting the camber during the alignment to ensure everything drove correctly.

I also want to specifically recognize James for the work he performed. The Jeep drives better than it has in years. The ride is smoother, the handling is tighter, and I can tell the repairs were done correctly. It is obvious he takes pride in his work.

Another thing that impressed me was that they didn't just hand me a repair estimate and leave me to figure it out on my own. Josh took the time to go over financing and payment plan options and worked hard to help me find a way to get my Jeep repaired. That kind of customer service is almost impossible to find anymore.

Throughout the entire process, I felt respected, informed, and valued as a customer. Every promise was kept, every question was answered, and every concern was addressed.

“my chevy colorado truck (near 70k miles) stalled out (it was running but Drive-Reverse-Low Gears weren't engaging) on the northbound entry from Watson to River Des Peres last friday afternoon... i was having some transmission issues like brief idles while driving, so i was going to bring it to BENCHMARK to have them take a look at it. I finally got towed about 4pm on a friday. the owner looked at it and said he would try to look at it on SATURDAY. he called on Saturday with the cost and said he could have me going on Monday afternoon! NOT A WHOLE NEW 5K+ transmission! I picked up the car on Monday and it's driving great.

i guess it's a known issue with Colorado's and their transmission programming and Benchmark tracked it down. Great service, quick service, and fair pricing. Highly recommend!”
