“Mikes Automotive came highly recommended by local StL gear heads so I chose them to install a new engine for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ(310,900 miles). Angelo walked me through the new engine installation process and explained everything from start to finish. They even towed my Jeep to shop. After 5 days, which is extremely fast, and was also told 5-10 business days for completion (Also fast in my experience), my Jeep was ready for pick-up. Thus far Ive been very pleased with the work. My jeep is running well and Im back on the road again.”

Scheduling was easy, and the car was ready before our requested time. They also fortunately found a mistake that a previous mechanic had quite unfortunately made. They communicated quickly and clearly about what was discovered and shared photos of it. I especially appreciated their honesty that the repair is important but not urgent (and the given instructions on how to keep an eye on it in the meantime). “I found a nail in my tire and stopped in to NAD after discovering another shop nearby was closed. I was greeted in a warm and friendly way by a mechanic. They were able to get me in right away and do the patch. While the mechanic worked, I had a great conversation with the owner, Ali, while I waited. Because it was so hot, he offered me a cold bottle of water. I plan to return to them for an oil change next time I need one. Definitely recommend.”

“My family and I have always taken all of our vehicles to Frank at JTs, and we’re never disappointed! My father even takes his company vehicles to his repair shop, as he trusts Frank and his team to the fullest extent. Not only is the work conducted quality, but it’s also fairly modestly priced (which is a real breath of fresh air in today’s times honestly). Frank will even take the time to personally explain what was done to the vehicle in his care and do so in a way you understand. For someone like myself, that’s always welcomed lol! The atmosphere is always so warm and filled with laughter most of the time – even when you’re finding yourself stressed. Because let’s be real here, having to have work done on your vehicle is nothing short of that. But having that friendly/welcoming environment on top of zero expectation of price gouging, makes the whole experience smooth and effortless! I do and will ALWAYS recommend JT’s Automotive!

“I've taken one of our vehicles here a couple of times when our usual auto shop hasn't been an option. So far, this has been a great alternative and will use them more often.
I was happy to finally go to an auto shop that provides pictures, video, descriptions, and estimates (via a linked text) for me to review of various recommendations they have after taking care of the primary reasons for my appointment. This makes it much easier to review and sort through which issues I may (or may not) want to fix at that moment. Way more efficient and overwhelming than going to a place and they rattle off 1/2 a dozen things over the phone with a total cost of hundreds of dollars. Leaving the customer wondering what actually needs to be fixed and what is just unnecessary extras, and without any visual references to what is going on under the hood.
Also, friendly and quick service were two extra pluses.”
