They have every spice imaginable, and their process is easy, straightforward, and affordable—truly unbeatable! “All grocery stores should have a dedicated allergen friendly and allergen free aisle!! It was so wonderful to walk down an entire aisle and find allergen friendly and allergen free food instead of searching the entire store for it!! The five stars are for the allergen free and allergen friendly aisle- I have a nut allergy- and the fact that I was able to find snacks and coffee that I cannot find where I live. I will state that what would make this Hy-Vee even better would be to add in, or add back in, a salad bar (i.e. Picadeli Salad Bar would be a great option).”

The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There is hot meals, and a large deli. The produce section fills with different varieties of fruits that are not normally offered at other Stores. The Floral Department has the loveliest ladies there, they listen, and have made my orders in the past very beautiful and memorable. I LOVE their ALTERNATIVE HEALTH FOOD section! if you need, lactose/casein free, almond products, soy products, gluten-free, dye free, peanut free options, vegan lifestyle, etc. It is there! If you have any questions, someone with understanding about those products will be able to help.
HY-VEE also has some great sales!”

“Really happy they got rid of self checkout. Also the employees here have been very helpful. My main complaint is that the company expects you to log in on your phone in order to do grocery pickup. I walked in and employees helped me anyway, and they were cool about it! I don't use most apps or buy anything through my phone, so Hy-Vee will be getting my business when I need pickup. They let me give a heads-up through a text or pull up where an employee is ready to help me.”
“Price Chopper's sales can't be beat, and meats, fish and produce are always FRESH! The stores are always clean, and the staff is personable. Self chedkouts are great for smaller shopping lists, but cashiers are available for those with full carts. Price Chopper also offers choice of plastic or paper bags (with handles)!”
“Great little grocery store with a nice variety of products from Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Mexico. It’s a unique spot with a lot to offer, but it does get very crowded, making it difficult to move through the aisles.
The biggest issue was pricing—many items didn’t have visible price tags or shelf labels, which made it hard to shop confidently. We ended up skipping several products because we couldn’t find the price. With better organization and clearer labeling, this place could be even better.”
“The food was excellent but the atmosphere sucks. One table at the back with lots of garbage and old stuff around. I had to share the table with another family. Come on take the corona virus distance signs down it has been 5 years. Major cleaning and re organization needed.”

“I mean... It's Aldi's. Pretty good price on organic stuff here, limited selection of course. I'm not a huge fan of how hurried I always feel in these stores... No time to browse and read labels. Too small and dark.. But not more than any of the others we have been to. Meh”

Whether I need assistance finding a specific item or just a cheerful greeting at checkout, they go out of their way to make sure I'm taken care of. “Very polite on the phones. It's a grocery store. Keep in mind it not automatic for you or me. If someone is rude tell them if they are nice tell them. They don't get compliments much and they work hard. Have realistic expectations It's not unheard of that they run out or the trucking system is delayed. Give them a break and be nice. With that said if you get a jerk climb the ladder and get resolution. They work for the customer and if they are rude, just to be rude. Report it. They cannot read minds or resolve the issue without any information ?.”
