“Customer for life! Schnees has great customer service. Back in 2021 I purchased a pair of Mission V2s from Schnees. The pair I purchased was too large and Schnees customer service was happy to work with me to find the right fit. Fast forward to Spring 2026, the toe box in both boots failed and I was getting wet feet walking through wet grass. I reached out to Schnees customer service and they asked me to send my boots in for repair. Upon receipt and inspection of my boots Schnees concluded that the boots were beyond repair. Schnees offered to send my boots back to me or I could get store credit toward a new pair (mind you my boots were well out of warranty). I elected to use store credit and get a new pair of boots. I chose to get a pair of Beartooth v3's. When I received my invoice from Schnees the total I owed was ZERO DOLLARS. Schnees replaced my boots for FREE. I am a customer for life.”

“Passed through Bozeman on a road trip and desperately needed some new shoes for my travels. I already knew the best move would be for me to pick up a pair of high top Converse, as I’ve owned a dozen pairs of them over the last three decades and know they work for me. I was helped by Courtney and she made the entire process easier than if I would have clicked the “buy it now” button on Amazon. Despite the straightforward service, she was very friendly, professional, and a great conversationalist. I normally don’t shop at the mall in Bozeman when I’m in the area, but next time I pass through I’ll definitely consider swinging by this Journey’s location again just to work with her on another pair of shoes because she was sensational!!!!”

“I’ve been going to Carter’s for about a decade, at their old location on Main and now in Four Corners. They’ve helped me with a variety of needs, from resoling my Birkenstocks a few times, to stretching and conditioning some vintage cowboy boots I inherited, fixing a pull tab on a boot, hooking my son up with some ranch gloves, steering me to the right leather salve and horse hair brush, and even down-size punching my bison belt when I lost weight during the pandemic.

But my favorite experience was purchasing a pair of Horse Power Top Hand carpincho boots from them. As these are a drop-ship item, staff sized me with comparable boots from the same manufacturer before ordering, and then upon delivery helped me select an insole lift for my goofy shorter leg. I’m super impressed with the service from Carter’s, as well as the price point and quality of the boots. They fit perfectly the first time on, and now after seven months of occasional use, feel just as comfortable. These are the only boots I’ve ever bought that didn’t need a substantial break-in period.

One person in particular, she wore a pink top yesterday and had glasses- wish I caught her name! But every single time I have ever gone in to browse or look for a very specific item, I have had the best customer service I have honestly ever experienced at a store.
