We stopped in for some late dinner and the bartender ignored us for at least 5 min while we watched her have a full conversation at the end of the bar with her friends. Her back was to the customers. By the time she finally did her job and came over to us...we had missed the cut off to order food. So we ate somewhere else.
Horrible server. She was there to socialize not to work.”

“My doctor recommended a good size list of supplements for me, and I was having trouble finding the very specific ones around town (and didnt trust online). I ended up at natural grocers near enough to closing time that i was not going to be able to find all of what I was looking for. Eli came over and was immediately willing to help. They knew exactly where to find each of them and had so much knowledge to share about all of them and how they work best that was incredibly helpful. I would have otherwise had to do a lot of internet research on my own and would have definitely gotten overwhelmed. They did not make me feel rushed, even though the store was very busy, they were training, and they had other closing duties to attend to. They ended up helping some other employees while I finished looking around and then rang me up. Truly was so nice to see someone working in a store where they actually knew and cared about what they were talking about- instead of just trying to sell as much as possible. Definitely will be back!”

“The HyVee Deli is incredible. Fantastic selection of meats and cheeses, as well as prepared meals. The imported cheese section is robust, and whoever is their buyer must have quite a bit of experience.
I highly recommend the store in general, and although the prices are the highest in town, you get the best selection and quality.”
“I went into Hy-vee 90th and Center at 7:40am 8/20/25 looking for a certain cupcake flower bouquet, well it was sold out and I was a little upset because this flower arrangement was for a coworker on her last day! The manager (should have got his name) came to help me and said the florist would be in at 8am but that was not gonna work for me because I had to be at work at 8am so I decided to buy a rose bouquet and for my troubles the manager threw in the vase at no cost, he was very nice and was going to arrange the roses in the vase when the florist arrived so the florist (again didn’t get her name) made a beautiful arrangement for me, in the meantime while I waited I picked up some Starbucks, so good! In the end it was 7:55 when I left and I made it to work on time! The best experience and customer service and it was all perfect!”

“Love me some Costco pizza!!! Great amount of sauce, cheese galore. Guys…if you have a Costco card and haven’t given their pizza a try, WTH?!?! Non Costco card peeps…it’s almost worth the price of membership alone. And I’m happy to discover, they have changed out their food court Pepsi options for Coca-Cola! Under $5 and you can have almost a full day’s calories, so be warned! The chicken bake is good, Hot Dog is a staple, not a huge fan of the Caesar… Service is usually good. Sometimes they’ll get busy with the large amount of full pizza orders to go and only one person at the register. But again, the wait is worth it.”

“I was looking for prepared foods for dinner. I googled, and Super Mercadito came up with the hot food bar was fresh, and delicious. I got pork belly stews in salsa verde and carnitas. The carnitas was tender, juicy and a nice pork flavor. It may the best carnitas I have ever eaten.”

“We were hungry and looking for something we'd never eaten before. A quick map search gave us Somali food, which fit the bill. We walked into the grocery store side of this establishment on accident (left side), but were kindly rerouted by the employees to the right side for the unassuming restaurant. Shafi took care of all of our questions (What's ugali/fufu? What's in the sambusa?) We ordered a sambusa, a fufu with chicken and a cja[ato with chicken. All of this we ate or had had substantially started eating before it hit us to take pictures. Sorry!It just smelled so good we couldn't resist. We waited at least 10 minutes for our meal, which we appreciated and assumed it was being made fresh. We were not disappointed. The chicken, onion, and bell pepper mixture was perfectly sautéed and seasoned. There were also our accompanying side salads and bean stew (fuul, I think) that I scooped up with my chapati and my wife incorporated with her ugali. All of it was delicious. I am generally a heavy eater, but along with a carbonated drink from the nearby cooler, I was pleasantly full and had to leave a few pieces of chapati for home. We look forward to going back again soon!”

“I shop at this particular hyvee a lot as it is right around the corner from my house. The prices can be pretty steep but they have pretty decent sales and if you can catch things on a coupon that's super helpful. The staff is always so helpful and kind.”

“I really can't say much negatively on my customer experiences at bakers I do admit I slightly prefer Hy-Vee better but that's just a me thing and Baker's is a little cheaper but slightly less convenient for me compared to Hy-Vee and sometimes I just need to get in and out of the store and or the in-house bank that I use and maybe the gas and convenience Hy-Vee has all three three but Baker's prices are a little cheaper on average”
“My friends and I had a great experience, even though we hadn't intended to make any purchases; we were exploring. However, when we came across a food choice of goat, we couldn't resist and ended up buying it. We were able to get everything sorted out with a one-hour turnaround.
I'd recommend trying the place out for all things live animals or some fresh produce.”

“Shop here for my parents. Love the no plastic bags policy! Staff are pretty nice and this time they were quick to open 2nd lane for long line. Only off note was cashier THROWING bag of potatoes under the counter after I noticed one potato was rotten and advised I no longer wanted them.”
