“The staff was very friendly!
The environment was clean, beautiful, and well-organized.
The restroom was clean, with hand soap, a hand dryer, and paper towels.
The best part was the water dispenser for refilling drinking water,
which made me really happy during my journey.”
“I absolutely LOVE grabbing a sandwich here any time my wife and I pay a visit to the Genoa Bar. The Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Panini is just awesome with a cold one and I always get it with their super tasty potato salad. If you're just passing through town, it really is a great place to grab all kinds of lunches and of course, there are tons of cool gifts and fun nicknacks that you can buy as well. I should note, it's been a few months since I've last stopped in, the summer of 2024 to be exact and I sure hope they open again as I do see it being listed as 'closed' right now. Heck, I may have to drive by just to make sure.
Parking: There is limited parking immediately out front but there is plenty along the streets and for free.”
“A local grocery experience that combines shopping and treasure hunting. The GO staff are friendly and genuine and often make my day with their banter. The meat and produce a very fresh. Wander through the isles, you never know new items you find or savings you'll get. There's something special there for everyone.”

“Has the best produce when stock is in... Serves the local population, and visitors (however most that come to South Lake Tahoe) usually head to Raley's or Safeway. Smart and Final has unique products by the company (1st Street)... Lots of bulk items, too.”

“We are lucky to even have a VERY small portion of an Asian selection in the "ethnic"grocery aisle. To have this store in a town as small as Tahoe is a god-send! I've purchase frozen Lumpia, Longnisa, Ube ice cream and Rabbit candy here... enough to curb my Filipino cravings until I visit family down the mountain. Don't hate on this small family owned business and don't expect to come to a small town and get Bay Area options, ya'lls.”

“This is definitely the best pharmacy in Tahoe. They are dependable, quick and friendly. Robin is especially helpful. I went through a rare disorder last year and felt helpless. Robin helped get me what I needed, followed up with me and asked how I was doing at a time where doctors did not know what to do and were irresponsive as a result.”

“After dinner, I dropped in with my partner for some groceries for breakfast the next morning. Got eggs, bread, orange juice, and champagne for a great price. We entered our rewards number which took off almost $12. The store was surprisingly busy for a Monday night at 8 o'clock however, there were several check stands open with short lines. Our cashier was friendly and chatted with us while speedily checking our items. The store was clean and the shelves were neat and stocked.”
“The best supermarket in all of Lake Tahoe, it has everything for food very well stocked and at any time of the year there are seasonal utensils to use, this is the intention 50 and the 89 the famous Y.”
“Customer service very nice ?We had car issues and the man behind the counter was amazing to us while we resolved our issue once resolved we were able to enjoy our stay. We were in out during our couple days we stayed in Tahoe and each time we received excellent customer service was so nice having awesome customer service”

“Pleasantly surprised at the extensive stock of beer! And the prices were really reasonable! They have everything from snow shovels to clothing. But if you drive to Tahoe and up Kingsbury Grade without carrying your own chains, you should expect those to be expensive in a mountain convenience store selling them for YOUR lack of planning!”
