“This place is family owned, multigenerational, and community driven.
I rented skis from the guy, and then boom, I see him on the mountain the next day. Remembers my name, makes sure I’m doing well. Isn’t that great.
While the name is factually correct but objectively not good/funny, I will come back here any time in the future for skis.”
“The staff at Rip N Willies was so accommodating and warm. I had not skiid in over 10 years and they waxed my skiis plus sharpened them to assure, I would have a good day on the slopes:)!
The snowboard rental staff were also accommodating with my son and set him up on the perfect snowboard to enjoy his day!

“I had bought a pair of Strive bindings here and had them mounted in the summer. I didn’t ski these skis (they are my powder skis) until this past week when I realized they mounted Gripwalk bindings when my boots are Multi-Norm.
Anyway, I called and they didn’t fight me at all on it and took responsibility and swapped them out for free!
Earned my future business and trust!”

“Febr. 7th 2024, rented a set of ski equipment and snowboard boots for my son. The equippment was excellent, very affortable and the service was friendly and professional. We have a timeshare at Hilton across the street and I will go back here next time for sure.”
“My experience with Ski rentals with this Powder House location was surprisingly pleasant and painless. I was worried that my experience would reflect some of the other reviews I see here, but this was not the case. I rented the Performance ski package which included the Skis, boots, and poles for 4 days and was charged appropriately according to the pricing on the website at the time of writing this. I also rented a helmet for the last 2 days; the final cost of which matched the pricing on the website at the time of writing this. The staff was very friendly and patient as I was skiing for the first time and had to get my boots resized after the first day at no additional cost. The staff expertly provided the next size up, readjusted my bindings, and had me out the door in less than 30 minutes so that I could enjoy the rest of my night and enjoy skiing the next day.”

“Shoreline offered high quality gear, service, and easy shopping very near Tahoe. We went to powderhouse the first 2 days and go sub par gear/quality for the high cost. We switched to shoreline as fast as possible and had a wonderful experience with high quality gear that fit well and worked amazing. A favorite aspect was that they waxed/sharpened the boards between uses so as soon as I hit the slopes it was just big, easy, comfortable carves. Thanks so much and I will definitely be coming back for rentals here in the future!”
