“The store looks great, with all of the latest gear, advice and recommendations, deals on closeouts and promos, and all that I've come to expect from REI.What I didn't expect was the best customer service I've witnessed in damn near (maybe over?) a decade.I've worked most of my life in outdoor recreation and retail, seen and worked with the best of the best (full disclosure, I worked with this store's manage, Joe Ruston, through the years and count him among them, so I shouldn't have been so surprised). This was right up there with any great outdoor retail experience I've ever had.The thing is though, this trip wasn't about me, it was about getting my 12 y/o daughter geared up and comfortable to start to find her own place in outdoor sports.Every single member of the staff that we spoke to was empowering, enthusiastic, thorough, and inviting to a kid whom most of them had never met.This spring I'll be outfitting my son as well, and of course, my wife and I will be upgrading our gear (as always).It will ABSOLUTELY be in the Bedford, NH REI store.Without a doubt.”

“We arrived a half hour before closing on a Friday evening. In spite of the late arrival, there were two extremely friendly and highly qualified staff available. They were extremely patient and brought out ten pairs of shoes for my wife to try to ensure she found the right ones. A mother and her six year old son with pain in his feet came in while we were there. Although the store doesn't selk youth shoes and knew they would not be able to make a sale, a salesperson took the time to ask a bunch of questions and gave them helpful advice. The atmosphere was great as well. Clean, bright, and well organized.”

“I just picked up a pair of boots from this store for an upcoming trip. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and very helpful. I didn't feel pressured into buying anything that I didn't need. “Give Tyler the world. Protect this man and his vibe at all costs. I am completely new to the sport and was nervous to even step foot into a ski shop due to the snobby reputation the ski world has but Ken Jones is not that at all. From the get go Tyler had the most helpful attitude. He explained every step of the boot fitting, parts of the boots and their function all in a very clear way. I struggle with verbalizing feelings and bodily sensations and Tyler never made me feel like I was crazy but instead understood exactly what I was describing! “I was recently in New Hampshire visiting my sister Serena Williams, no relation, and her new husband. She’s on this new health kick, which I do not see lasting, but she insisted that she go shopping for new athletic clothes with me because she wanted my opinion, as if I know anything about fashion Lol.! She took me to this ASICS. I was apprehensive at first because I didn’t even know what an ASIC was, but the place was lovely. However, my whole experience was absolutely made by worker Tana. After my sister went off to the female athletics section, Tana rescued me when I could not find the pair of tennis shoes that I liked in my size. This happens often because stores usually do not display my small size, but Tana blew me away in this particular instance with her affinity for customer service. It only took a jiff for her to find them. She was extremely helpful and said many interesting things. She told me that I had great taste when I had picked out my shoes. It made my day! Not to mention the deal I got on the shoes! I was so pleased with how they felt, as well as with Tanaa’s politeness, that I got a second pair for when it rains. If I am ever in the area again, I will certainly be returning to this outlet.”

Im a realtor, and was looking for a graphic designer that could design “walking billboards” aka (t-shirts) for my family to wear for an open house I was having in Massachusetts! Youth and adult sizes, available! And so many colors to choose from. MetroSports was able to add different graphics on my realtor t-shirts! I walked in and had shirts designed and completed right away! They really are efficient. Prices are affordable. I will be back! I have some shirts I want to add patches to! Thank you guys! “Wow, what an easy transaction buying a gun online and picking it up in store. It was a certain pew, pew that I was looking for which happened to be significantly cheaper at basspro. I’ve never bought a gun in a big box store, but would do it in a heartbeat again it was cheaper I got there at opening was in and out with an hour, I thought it was standard protocol in the state of New Hampshire to have multiple days In order to pick up a gun I’ve been duped by the Local gun shops bass pro was way more efficient!!!”

“These employees deserve pay raises. We’re here on vacation and stopped in at this location. The store manger confronted a guy (clearly a regularly because she knew his name) and asked him to remove the shoes from his shorts that he had swiped off of the shelf. She made sure staff and the other customers were safe and then chased him through the mall until security got him.”
“I am not a runner, but a walker. I was looking for a good shoe. One of the owners helped me. She measured my feet using a computer imaging system which measures width and pressure points as well as size. She was very thorough in fitting, making sure I got the right fit, and a shoe I like. I highly recommend!”
