“Darling's is one of the few places where you can use the words "honest" and "mechanic" next to each other.I went to them a few years ago after getting cleaned out by another mechanic two years in a row. The second time, it was obvious fraud (complete failure to address the problem coupled with replacing a part that was good). Am I glad I switched!They do look at things carefully and give accurate assessments of both current and impending problems (like tire wear, for instance, AHEAD of when they need to be replaced). There is absolutely no pressure to buy parts or services from them, based on what they report.From what I've seen and other people tell me, the Darlings try to keep repairs as reasonably affordable as they can. They are more than willing to prioritize what needs to be done, so it can be spread out. Their hourly labor rate is competitive with similar businesses, but since they are competent, it's kind of a bargain.The only drawback is that A LOT of people recommend Phil and Son's. That's bad because it means that there's a wait when I want to get MY car in. In spite of that, I've directed my best friends there because what nicer thing can you do for your friends than to find a very good and ethical mechanic? If they could just book their cars in AFTER mine....”

Parking can be challenging at times but we have never experienced the cut throat race for a space like at other places. It is a fun store in which to shop.”

“If I could give more stars, I would!!! I stopped in on a monday not knowing they were closed. A man (I believe to be an owner) noticed me outside walking away and invited me in anyway! Spent probably 45 minutes with me going over 2 different stoves and was extremely informative. I ultimately ended up ordering a stove from this company a few weeks later and the folks there when I went in to pick up were just as friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and a no-pressure buying experience. You have questions? They are guarenteed to have the answers. On the off chance they don't, they will work to get you the answer as fast as possible. My Pacific Energy Summit wood stove came in very quick (suprising for ordering in the fall). Pick up was a breeze and they loaded the stove into my truck with the forklift. The loading guy even made sure it was exactly where I wanted it before driving the fork lift back to the garage. After getting it set up in my house, i had a few questions about how it was burning. I sent some videos to their facebook page where I got a reply fairly quickly reassuring me the burn was correct, and saved me a trip to the store. 10 out of 10 all around experience and I can't recommend them enough!”

“I got an advertisement from Consumer Cellular in the mail and calculated how much I could save by switching from AT&T so I went to Target to get more information and switch over. After waiting 20 minutes or so for the staff to finish with other customers I gave up and went to the AT&T store. The clerk at the AT&T store found me a plan that met my needs and cost $15 a month less than the plan I would have gotten from Consumer Cellular at Target. If Target weren't short-staffed I would have missed that opportunity. So thanks, Target, your short-staffing saved me a lot of money!”

“Typically love this location and would've given 5 stars if not for my experience earlier today. I'm friendly with all the staff, except for the one rude older lady there. It's getting to the point she's so miserable I avoid going there when she's working. Like, why work there if she can't have basic manners/people skills?I make it a point to be a pleasant person to anyone I interact with. But she had me telling her to shove that attitude where the sun doesn't shine ?After someone is rude to you so much it gets old. But other than that, this is my go-to store as long as she's not behind the counter.”
