“I’m a new runner and heard from a few friends that Runner’s Alley was a great place to go for a pair of shoes. I went in and Mitch quickly started helping and assessing my gait/run. He gave me a couple options (both of which felt great) and was able to leave with a super comfortable pair of new shoes to get going, all within 5-10 minutes. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I’ll be back!”
“I really can't say enough good things about Exeter Cycles. I've had to rely on them for new bikes, maintenance, & parts since 2021 and the staff are ALWAYS so helpful and genuine. More recently, I thought I would have to buy a whole new bicycle in order for it to be compatible with my kids trailer.
The staff had every opportunity to capitalize on my ignorance but the thought never even crossed their mind. He simply showed me an adapter I could purchase from a third party online that would work on my current bike and saved me thousands of dollars. Great courtesy on their behalf and it's a great example of long term good business practice. I'll always remember how much they saved me in the short term. We will definitely be purchasing all our bikes here in the future and recommending you guys on nextdoor as well. Thank you!!”
“Great culture here! Stopped in to grab a dive computer and didn’t want to leave! The owners are helpful and friendly. They offer 1 on 1 instruction that is non-intimidating and very supportive. NAUI certification offered which you can take with you around the world. Dive pool on site and lots of equipment available to rent or buy. They go out every Saturday morning complete with a cookout after!”
“Great dive shop, as an active duty military member I enjoying my time at this dive shop. They work around my schedule for scheduling dives that worked for me. I was able to continue my PADI diver training and certification with my advanced dive and rescue diver course as well as 3 additional specialty courses. Dick and his staff are informative, respectful and positive addition to his team and always helped me with any equipment questions or anything I needed. I have had worked with 3 other really good dive shops, but none of them had the trifecta Portsmouth Scuba has, great instructors, great store knowledge and customer service and an instructors available to schedule dives. I would highly encourage anyone whom is interested to take that first step and try out diving in the open water course. For those whom do find the diving bug it opens up a whole new world of diving that can be done around the world.
Active duty and veterans recommended checking your military friendly resources availability through TA or such programs as Operation Blue pride, Force Blue and Patriots for disabled divers. Also know that PADI has a %15 discount for any eLearning courses you take.”
“Wow! I have a Nemo Roamer XL sleeping pad that is amazing and so comfortable! That’s not even the best part. Over a year after buying it, it got a leak so I contacted Nemo support about a repair but it’s the holidays and I have a trip coming up quick, so they offered to send me a new pad! I’m blown away, I didn't even ask for that!! This is amazing customer service that is unheard of these days. Nemo you have a customer for life and I will be sharing my experience with my friends.”
“Great visit- plenty helpful and great service. If you are from out of state- don’t bother looking for something more local… it’s worth the drive just to make sure it’s open and well stocked with what you need to fish in NH.”
“Best place to get sneakers, especially for runners and active adults. Bert is extremely helpful and will always make sure your sneakers fit properly. I highly recommend.”
“Blaze was amazing. He really knows his shoes, Fit our specific needs perfectly. SO comfortable that we both left wearing the 880’s and 1080’s feeling like we are walking on a cloud! Highly recommend.”
“We stop at this store while we're on our way to Ogunquit and points north, but I sometimes wonder if we visit points north while we're in the area of this store. Great store with a wide range of products. Where else can you buy sports clothing, shoes, a kayak, a tent, binoculars, Yeti products, and chocolate covered peanuts?”
“This place knows how to run a business!! I had an issue with one of my irons (noticed iron head was starting to come off shaft). I expected to leave it to have it repaired hoping to have it soon enough to get a few more rounds it this season. The guy at the register said let me check with the repair shop and started writing it up. The repair shop guy came up looked at it said I can do that right now. Told guy at register not to bother writing it up. 15 minutes later it was done, no charge, smiles all around. I WILL BE SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!”
“So friendly. We bought something in the wrong size and already tossed the tag. The next day we went in to explain the situation and they let us exchange for the correct size. It was so kind of them!”
“I came in twice the other day to buy gear for my 8 and 4 year old, the knowledge and patience exhibited by the employees ( JP and Brandon) were nothing short of exemplary. They explained things in a way I(someone who knows nothing about skating/hockey) understood while also not overloading me with info. Because of them I signed up for the rewards program and will undoubtedly be back the next time hockey gear is needed. Keep up the great work JP and Brandon”
“Where do I start well the owner is a great guy and his brother ,shop workers are the best around, great quality gear, clean environment, and great coffee at NOA:)”

“Hayden Sports has very friendly staff as well as high-quality and creatively designed apparel. They have traditional and student-designed items. A great small business! I highly recommend stopping by their store on Main Street or visiting their website. Even if you're not a UNH Wildcat!”
“I really like this place, I go every summer and they always have good deals. I always buy shoes here and you can get a great durable pair for around 60 dollars that will last you a year.”
“Great way to enjoy a multitude of sports without the all-in price! Great way to keep your growing kids in quality skates at a resonable price, and they sharpen as well as any rink at a fourth of the price”
“The team at Coed has been phenomenal! They always have quality products in stock or can acquire what you're looking for with reasonable lead times. They provide great advice on print/embroidery options, design, set up, shipping etc and are very transparent with pricing and material details. We're very fortunate to have partnered with them and have watched both our Smuttynose and Island District brands grow from the opportunities presented by the partnership.”
“Loved our experience. I wish I got the name of the young lady who helped us, but she was divine. I came in for one item and they didn't have it, left with $200 dollars worth of other great stuff. You can't go wrong with Life Is Good. I highly recommend the beach bag. LOVE IT... I think it was $34.00 and two doors down a REALLY nice beach bag (equally nice) was $180. I vote Life Is Good every time!Oh, and limited ingredient dog biscuits for my tea cup doggies!”

“Always a pleasure to shop here. I buy almost all my work clothes and personal clothes at this store and do a lot of holiday shopping here. The staff is great! Kevin and Tim are wonderful managers at this location!”
“I have seldom visited this location. During our visit there today we were surprised to have been helped by an employee who was helpful regarding an inquiry we had. We visited several other shoe store locations looking for a certain style shoe, and upon visiting here we didn't see the style. The employee looked to see if they had one online and they didn't. We purchased two pair of different shoes and were glad to have had a flyer received in the mail that was useful at the visit, approximately $20 off our purchase; that was great! The Rockports I am wearing were purchased today and are very comfortable!!”
“I really dislike the customer services at most of the Nike outlets store I’ve visited. However this store customer services was an exceptional! The young women greeted us well and with friendly smile that’s a real customer service!”
“Great selection of shoes and workout clothing. They always have the gear we need each sports season so we know we can count on leaving with whatever the kids need no matter what the sport. Also love the coupon you get when you return an item - great incentive to stay and shop a bit more!”
“I had a wonderful afternoon shopping here - all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Being a first-time lululemon shopper I was a little nervous but the salespeople put me at ease and I felt comfortable trying on several leggings to find the right fit. I will definitely return to this store. Thank you!!”
“I shop here regularly but it is hit and miss. The styles are mostly for a younger crowd and it is considered a 'skate board' shop. Every now and then I find something I cannot live without. The prices are high on most everything though they do have a large discounted area in the back of the store. It is large because mostly things are overpriced when they arrive in the store so a larger number of items are discounted in the back of the store than you would expect. But even some of those prices are too high. There are often shoe styles I would like to buy but they rarely have much in the way of sizes so you will have to shop online if you see something you love. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. They rarely greet you as you shop but they have many attendants on duty who just ignore the customers. I often see 4 or 5 cashier/attendants hanging around the registers chit-chatting with each other while they completely ignore their customers. I sense attitude even when I cash out. It is almost embarrassing to shop there. I don't feel welcome. But when I find something I like then I endure the attitude to pay for it.”
