Grocery Stores in Rochester, NH

“It's always nice when the cashier asks if I found everything I was shopping for and says thank you for shopping at Market Basket and enjoy the rest of your day!”

“Had a fantastic experience. Line manager Dan went over and beyond for a lady in line having issues paying with a card. I haven't seen such a commitment to his customer like that in a long long time. Thank you Dan. Greatly appreciated. For this, Market Basket is strong.”

“Great produce, Meats and Seafood selection. Fresh produce and Seafood! Very Clean and well laid out aisles. Staff are generally very helpful. Prices are a little high but for the quality of the Produce alone it's worth an extra $20 a week! Still great place to shop”

“Great experience here over the main st location by McDonald’s. Still just a big and the same selection with less people. If distance doesn’t matter, this location is the better Rochester one”

“Love their meats, always fresh and their chicken packets are delicious. I find it a quaint market with good service. They have a section with larger bottles of any kind of spice. If you want to avoid the big stores, trouble finding a parking spot or long lines, go to Arthur's Market.”

“First of all, I would like to say that I have done business with many pharmacies over the course of close to 50 years. Some have been good, others much less so, but no matter what, none have even come close to matching the sustained excellence of the Hannaford Pharmacy on North Main St. in Rochester. I have been a customer for over 8 years, and have been fortunate enough to experience the terrific communication, extra efforts, assistance over and above what one would normally expect, and generally extraordinary service,
so rare in this day and age. Another in the continuous examples of this occurred recently - I had mishandled the required timing of a refill for an extremely essential medication, a terrible miscalculation on my part. Thanks to the prompt actions of the pharmacy team, my provider responded in a timely manner, and I was able to get the medication within a day. This was remarkable, but is typical of my experience with this team. They are the best, and I appreciate their efforts more than mere words could express!!”

“Moved my prescriptions here after the rite-aid went and credit where it is due, I have never previously had a person behind the pharmacy counter scan and re-scan things through a bunch of different discount programs to get my the best out-of-pocket, so kudos to Andrew for going to that trouble.”

“This is definitely one of your bigger Walmart locations. They are like a full service grocery store on top of being a Walmart but I was there to shop the clothing, home goods and other odds and ends so I was not particularly here for the grocery part of the store. The merchandise here is all neatly fronted and faced and it is not hard to find what you are looking for.I was especially drawn to the women's clothing area and I happened to find a couple of 100% cotton blouses and a nightshirt with a gorgeous rose pattern on a black background. I went and tried everything on and the fit was perfect.I also went to the department where they have storage items for sale and I picked up a plastic three drawer storage case. It is coming in handy. The employees here that I dealt with were all very helpful and looked like they were always willing to assist.Everything was neat and clean, prices were reasonable as well.”

“I must have hit the right time of day I brought my vehicle in for tires and needed to get some home product for maintenance lawn care and renovation. Walmart has great ideas great finds prices are seamlessly rising quickly, I have noticed that...”
