“This review is a long time coming (25 yrs!) and long deserved.
I have gone to a few TJMaxx in NJ bec I am a fan of theirs. Here's the thing, every time I go to other locations I find myself appreciating this Edison, NJ location even more! Why? There is a unique & lovely ambiance to the store set up, the lighting, the racks, the aisles are inviting to walk through, and the displays are enticing to look at. All of that coaxes me to want to spend time in the store to be on a happy hunt (for that thing I was thinking of or hadn't thought about but there it is waiting for me to take it home). The quality and choices of merchandise and their prices make them UNBEATABLE, a no-brainer. It is the place where I find designer (current style) housewares, artisanal food, furnishings, (men, women, & kids) shoes, clothes, kids toys, books, planners, journals, and jewelry (fashion & real). (Super stoked with the jewelry, belts, & bag I got. Shout out to the TJMaxx buyer -- whoever you are, chef's kiss!) The proof is in the pudding -- the store has been in this location for nearly three decades; only one of two in Wick Plaza that have been here that long (the other one is Le Peep).
To add to all this, the staff is always professional, warm, and attentive in the fitting room, floor, and the check-out. I had the pleasure of being served by Monica, Hannah, & Tammy the other night. During our short & sweet encounter I realized I MUST (finally) acknowledge TJMaxx online.
I want to thank TJMaxx Edison for continuing to be like an old friend. I am appreciating it even more now because the majority of the year I am overseas. One of the sweet treats of being home is visiting TJMaxx Edison.

“I was back at Hemp Social last Friday with my Sister. Once again Tiffany was my Hostess, and she is the BEST. She's a sweetheart!! I am old school and and need a little extra time. “I run in here frequently, it's very easy to get into even if you're in a wheelchair, the prices are extremely reasonable comparable in my opinion to Walmart in many instances although they're inventory is not necessarily as adequate but if you're willing to make adjustments to what you want you're going to walk out the door with good prices on most of the stuff that you get the staff is not especially helpful but they will ring you up.”

“Perfect place to grab stocking stuffers during the holidays as they have a large selection of small affordable toys. I find myself going here for little add ons to gifts. The claw machines here are impossible so it’s best to stay away from those.”
“Love the service here. With Starbucks and pizza hut inside it's amazing to shop I this target. A little pricey in some items but overall a very good store to shop. And this is close to Menlo mall and other shops. Love shopping here. Hassle free returns . Love the service in returns and pickup area . It gets a bit crowded in weekends and other holidays . Lots of parking outside . Fantastic location . Good selection of items ..”

“They doesn't have the Latin food i was looking for, Tequeños any brand or Goya, any dough for pastry or bread , corn fluor harina Pan, even Malta, Polar waters can flavored, i just bought normal water, i guess people leave Walmart empty.”
“Located in the lower level of Macy's, Backstage is the clearance store for Macy's and Bloomingdale's. I often find worthwhile bargains here and usually quality merchandise.
This department is often unorganized, while on my last visit it was quite clean and tidy.
The service is usually quite good, although there is often only one cashier in this department and the lines can get long. You can always take any merchandise to another cashier in a different department.”
“Amazing Service, my son struggles from Autism and Anxiety, he hesitates to talk to new people and usually is afraid of others talking to him. But your employee Jemil is genuinely one of a kind. He did not treat him definitely but rather welcomed him with open arms. Seeing my son finally have a genuine conversation about his hobbies really brought a tear to my wife’s eyes. Please give him my accommodation”

“Shafqat a guy who works in the shoe department was really helpful.. we were looking for a specific type of shoes and he brought all the shoes (our description) that they have in the store.. good customer service!”
